CAD/CAM 시스템을 이용한 의치 제작은 환자의 내원 횟수를 감소시키고 기공과정에서 발생하는 오차를 감소시키는 장점이 있다. 본 환자는 상악 잔존치 발거에 따라 완전무치악 상태가 된 환자로, 하악 잔존치조제의 흡수로 기존 하악 총 의치의 유지와 안정이 부족하여 하악 임플란트 유지 피개의치 및 상악 총의치 수복을 계획하였다. 폐구상태에서 환자의 기능운동을 이용해 인상채득하는 BPS (Biofunctional prosthetic system)개념을 디지털화하여 Gnathometer CAD로 수직교합고경을 설정하고 고딕아치로 중심위를 인기하였으며 UTS CAD로 디지털 안궁이전하였다. CAD/CAM 시스템과 monolithic disc를 이용하여 제작한 상악 총의치, 하악 임플란트 유지 피개의치의 유지, 안정, 지지가 양호하며 환자는 향상된 의치 기능과 심미성에 만족하였기에 보고하는 바이다.
