본 연구에서는 대학생의 전체 역량 측정이 아니라 문제해결역량의 향상도를 측정하기 위해 프로젝트 수업을 진행한 후 학생들의 창의적 문제해결역량이 실제로 수업을 통해서 향상되는지를 확인해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구, 프로젝트 수업 설계, 프로젝트 수업 전후의 역량조사 및 분석 과정을 거쳤으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로젝트 수업전과 수업 후의 학생들의 창의적 문제해결역량은 어느 정도 향상되는지 측정한 결과, 창의적 문제해결 역량을 이루는 문제인식, 분석적 사고, 융통적 사고, 대안발견, 도전적 태도 등 5개 역량이 모두 향상된 것으로 측정되었다. 둘째, 위 5개의 역량간 상관관계가 모두 상호 유의미하게 나타났으며, 특히 높은 상관관계를 나타낸 것은 문제인식과 대안발견, 문제인식과 분석적 사고, 분석적 사고와 대안발견 순이다. 향후, 본 연구의 일반화를 위해 다른 형태의 수업 및 타 대학이나 학과에 적용하는 연구가 수행될 필요가 있다고 본다.
