Es wird eine Methode zum dunnschichtchromatographischen Nachweis von Zuckern beschrieben. Die Methode kann auch in der Biochemie, der Pharmakologie und der Nahrungsmitteltechnologie angewandt werden. Als Laufmittel finden Verwendung: I. Benzol/Butanol-(1)/Aceton/Wasser (20 : 30 : 40 : 10, v/v); II, 1,2-Dichlorathan/Eisessig/Methanol/Wasser (50 : 25 : 15 : 10, v/v); III. Borsaure 0.5%/Butanol-(1)/Propanol-(2) (20 : 30 : 50, v/v). Die Detektion erfolgt mit einem Diphenylamin-Anilin-Phosphorsaure-Reagenz. Zusatzlich wird eine enzymatische Nachweismethode, die als dunnschichtchromato-graphischer Nachweis von Zuckern geeignet ist, beschrieben.
