본 연구는 유아수학교육의 필요성을 강조하기 위하여 실제 유치원 일일교육계획안에 나타난 수학교육 관련 내용을 분석하였다. 분석대상은 B시의 5개구 10개 유치원의 3, 4, 5세 학급에서 1년간 작성된 일일교육계획안으로, 분석준거는 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정의 탐구생활 영역 중 수학적 기초능력 기르기에 따른 내용체계에 기초를 둔 노희수(2010)의 수학교육 내용 영역의 분류기준이다. 또한, 타 영역과의 통합활동은 개정 유치원 교육과정(2007)에서 제시한 5개 생활영역으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 일일교육계획안에 나타난 수학교구 중 수개념에 대한 교구가 가장 많았고, 시간 및 측정 개념에 대한 교구가 가장 적게 나타났다. 둘째, 수학활동의 경우, 수학교구와 다르게 공간 및 도형에서 가장 많은 수학활동의 빈도가 나타났으며, 수개념, 시간 및 측정의 개념 순으로 높은 빈도를 보였다. 또한 수학활동의 경우, 단독활동보다 통합활동 형태로 대부분 이루어지고 있었는데 이중에서도 표현영역과 언어영역과의 통합활동 빈도가 가장 높게 나타났다.
이러한 연구결과는 유아수학교육의 방향 모색 및 현장중심의 수학교육을 위한 교사교육과 실제적이며 통합적 수학활동을 위한 교사교육 필요성에 시사점을 가진다.

This research analyzed mathematical materials and activities to emphasize the necessity about kindergartener mathematics education in the kindergarten daily education. The subject of analysis was the daily education plan which was written for one year from the three, four and five year old students’ classrooms at 10 kindergartens of 5 boroughs in B city. The standard of analysis is a classification of mathematics education based on the study by Heesoo Noh(2010). This study based on developing mathematics skill of research parts among revised kindergarten education courses at 2007. In addition, this standard was established to find united activities of mathematics and other fields. United activities with other fields are parts of health life, expression, languages, and research. The analysis of materials was done by kindergarten education professors and four lecturers. Also, they set up the standards and analyzed daily education plans together. The meetings for research were processed once a week, total 12 times, to improve the reliability of analysis. The reliability and validity are 00. The collected materials were analyzed by the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of study were followed. First, the most frequent mathematics materials were related to number concepts in three, four, and five year old students’ groups. Among the materials of number concepts, materials about counting numbers were the most. On one side, materials about time, measurement, and time concept showed least frequency. Second, the space and figure activities in daily education plans had most frequency in all age group. The concept of figures was the most frequent in those activities. On the other hand, there were the least frequency in patterns and the algebra activities. In those activities, concept of algebra showed the least frequency. Third, mathematic activities processed by united ways in all age group. They showed high frequency in the area of expression and language parts. The unification of mathematics and sociology showed the least frequency. The result of this research will help to enforce efficient mathematics education, activate kindergarten mathematics education, and to prepare united management of kindergarten education process.
