2) 구체적 연구목표 첫째, 간호학생의 문제해결 능력과 실무능력 향상을 위하여 기본간호학과 성인간호학의 시뮬레이션 교육에 적용할 간호학과 2학년과 3학년의 curriculum map을 정의한다. 둘째, 개발된 curriculum map에 따라 일차적으로 2개 학기에 적용할 4개의 시나리오를 개발한다. 셋째, 2개 학기 동안 시나리오 기반의 시뮬레이션 교육을 시행하고, 지식, 문제해결능력, 자기 신뢰의 변화 과정을 분석하여, 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 제시한다.

This study was to enhance knowledge, clinical skill performance and to facilitate problem solving skill and self confidence for nursing students using simulation-base education. Curriculum map and four scenarios were developed for high-fidelity simulations reflecting Korean nursing education environment. In addition, it was to evaluate the simulations by learning outcomes and perceived of the simulation design features.
This study consists of two phases, these are as follows: Step 1: Development of a curriculum map and four scenarios based on our clinical environment using the methodological approach, which is to facilitate a simulation-based education applying the medium- or high-fidelity simulators. A curriculum map included sequential objectives, essential knowledge, and clinical performance according to the academic year. For the first stage, 7 nursing school professors from 7 different nursing schools and 3 nurse educators in three different university hospitals were participated in determining learning objectives. 5 nursing experts were participated in verifying scenarios’ validity. The tools for OSCE and CPX were developed according to the educational objectives. Step 2: The second stage evaluated perceived of the simulation design features and the learning outcomes such as self-confidence, critical thinking skill using a quasi-experimental post design. Nursing knowledge, problem solving skill, clinical skill performance, and self confidence on the post-test for the experimental group and control group were measured during 2 semesters. High-fidelity simulations were conducted during 2 semesters in the fundamental and adult nursing classes. The data were analyzed using t-test and correlation coefficient.
We created 4 high-fidelity simulations to integrate cognitive and psychomotor skills according to the learning outcomes and clinical situation in Korea; 'A 28-year-old male patient is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow', 'A male patient has suddenly lost consciousness', 'Antibiotics preparation for a patient with pneumonia newly diagnosed', and 'Tracheostomy suction to prevent from increasing intracranial pressure'. Experimental group had significantly higher scores of clinical skill in the scenario two. Experimental group had significantly higher scores of self-confidence in the scenario four. There was no difference between two groups on critical thinking skills. The relationship between perceived of the simulation design features, self-confidence, and critical thinking skill scores were statistically significant in the scenario three and four.
This study serves to replicate the essential aspects of a clinical situation so that the situation may be more readily understood and managed in clinical practice. Simulation education facilitates problem solving and skill performance of nursing students. The well-developed curriculum map and scenarios will be continuously used for simulation-based education. In addition, instructors and operators will reduce their redundant efforts using these curriculum map and scenarios
