A existing writing education curriculum has been composed of either the 『Korean Language』 through the learning activity or of a writing course with the 『Live Korean Language』. However, the learning activity through the 『Korean Language』 is to conform the degree of understanding contents rather than to promote the writing education course. In addition, the 『Live Korean Language』 is not achieved systematically, but, the portion of education which is chosen by teacher are only covered. For these reasons, the writing education tends to be unpractical for students to further their writing abilities. Besides, the students are not interested and feel hard to write. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to encourage third grade middle school students who dislike and suffer from the writing to have interest and recognize that writing is so fascinating. Moreover, the study aims to help the student who might be confused with their identities look in their insides through the writing and, by teaching the writing, to make them see their egos. First of all, the writing education through the advantages of an essay was found. In general, the essay is relatively interrupted by form. Namely, it would become a less burdened genre to the students regarded as callow writers. Thus, the writing with a piece of an essay work fostered accommodating circumstance. Also, they were ordered to complete an essay focused more on the contents of the writing other than on the forms of it. To complete an essay results in giving the students confidences and interests on the writing. I chose "self-reflection" as a subject in order to relieve the students' burdens and difficulties from the writing, and it contributed to the process of their thinking because the subject was related to the students closely and directly. Also, the students would understand themselves in the process of expressing thoughts about introspection as the writing. The writing essay on self-reflection was based on the process-centered and the conversation-centered writing. Through these processes, the students were motivated to perceive their egos as the subject of the reflection, the relationship, and the practical morality. The study was planed to inspire the students to write confidently and interestingly by presenting learning directions on "self-reflection". Also, we tried to prove that the students can find their egos as teaching them the writing skills to look in their inside views. Neither the self-formation nor self-viewing is so abstract that it is not judged that the ego is formed and reflected even if teaching-learning programs are presented. Nonetheless, on the premise that the writing education is accomplished in terms of knowledge and function, teaching the emotional side of the writing is meaningful.
