Foods and nutritions related to dental caries are fruits, protein, fibers , calcium, and phosphorus which with increased consumption have been found to decrease cases of dental caries(p<0.05). Foods and nutritions related to periodontal disease: sugars, mushrooms, meat, oils, beverages and liquors, artificial food tasting, fat, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, retinol, niacin have been shown to decrease the prevalence of periodontal diseases with increased intake(p<0.05). Conclusion: Dental caries and Periodontal disease showed a distinction between men and women.
