Previous studies on victims of school violence were mainly focused on internalizing problems. However, after investigating adolescents who showed extreme aggression such as mass shooting, it is found that the majority of them have had an experience of being a victim of school violence. Considering this, it is plausible to say that experiences of school violence affect not only internalizing problems but also externalizing problems such as aggression and violent behaviors. Therefore, more profound studies on externalizing problems as school violence’s outcome are needed. Furthermore, it is very important to find proper way of taking part in resolving the problems. For this purpose, this study explores the psychological process of how experiences of school violence develops into aggression. The hypothesis of this study is that the experience of being a victim of school violence develops into aggression, mediated by shame and retaliatory psychology. In addition, whether that process can be moderated by the degree of covert narcissism has been also examined. This study includes adolescents from 7th grad to 12th grade(n=401) and used the analysis of the structural equation model to evaluate the model fit. Moreover, the multi-group analysis has been conducted to measure the moderating effect of internalized narcissism. The results showed that all paths are found to be significant except for the direct path from the experienced school violence to aggression. Moreover, the multigroup analysis, investigating the difference in terms of the degree of narcissistic tendency, showed that only the path from an experienced school violence to retaliatory psychology is significant while other paths seem insignificant.
