(System of homogenizing and dispersing)과 blade을 혼용한 casting 방법을 사용하였다.

In this study, bio-degradable porous film used for guided bone regeneration of alveolar bone defect region in the dental treatment field was fabricated and investigated and assessment of the biological safety was performed. This porous film was fabricated using PCL(Polycaprolactone) as a bio-degradable synthetic polymer, casting method using system of homogenizing and dispersing mixed with blade was used. The mixed solution including PCL solution in which NaCl particles were uniformly dispersed was fabricated and dispensed on quartz plate. After forming uniform thickness of this dispensed solution using the blade method, this mixture solution was firstly dried and cast as a film. After extracting NaCl from this film using distilled water, the film was secondly dried at 25℃(room temperature) and finally fabricated as a porous film . At this time, for controlling the size and formation of pore with three dimensional network structure, drying temperature of film, NaCl content and NaCl particle size as experimental parameters were considered. In the result of observing pore formation of this porous PCL film through a scanning electron microscope, pore formation of PCL film dried at 25℃(room temperature) with NaCl particle size of 45~100㎛ and 30wt% NaCl was suitable. Assessment of the biological safety of porous PCL film fabricated in this study was performed to confirm whether this film can be used within the human body for guided bone regeneration in the medical field. For this purpose, total five items of cytotoxicity, intradermal, acute toxicity, endotoxin and genetic toxicity (microbial reverse mutation) were evaluated and in all the results, it was suitable for criteria presented in a standard of In vitro/In vitro evaluation test. Thus, it was investigated that the porous PCL film fabricated in this study can be used within the human body for medical application.
