Due to the IMF economic crisis and neo-liberalism, the use of irregular workers in companies became common. The public sector was no exception. The use of irregular workers has been carried out under the tacit approval of the regular workers union. The issue of irregular workers is causing various social problems, including income gap, and discrimination against non-regular workers is considered a serious social problem. The issue of irregular workers was researched in various academic fields, including labor economy and business management. In particular, the issue of discrimination between employment types has become an important subject of study in the labor law, focusing on the controversy over whether non-regular workers or contract workers are social identities. With regard to the government's recent policy of converting non-regular workers in the public sector to regular workers, there are growing voices of opposition from regular workers in large, irregular, public institutions. The reasons behind the controversy were serious job difficulty and competition for employment, but the emergence of irregular workers as competition to regular workers could also be a cause. In situations where discrimination against non-regular workers exists, cooperation between members is not expected, and the status gap creates a sense of incompatibility among members, which can interfere with the flow of irregular workers into the organization. Thus, the discrimination between the types of employment should be corrected in the context of corporate management, apart from political and legal issues. Based on this awareness of problems, this study explored the prejudice of regular workers against non-regular workers based on social identity theory. In particular, the impact of full-time and regular employees on their identity, their influence on their prejudice, and They sought to find out whether threats to permanent status, zero sum beliefs, re-person of workers ' groups, and joining labor unions would regulate the strength of irregular workers ' prejudices. Studies have shown that the higher a full-time employee recognizes his or her position, the more clearly his or her status is a result of legal gains. Also, the clearer the identity of regular workers, the more prejudice they have against irregular workers. Among several factors that are supposed to be responsible for controlling the bias between employment types, the zero sum belief has been found to play a role in strengthening the prejudice against irregular workers. Status threats, worker group recidivism, and union membership, which had predicted to weaken prejudice, showed no statistically significant results. Based on the results of these empirical studies, the influence of status as a full-time worker, the belief in zero islands, and the role of labor unions were raised.
