This study is an action research that a special teacher and a career teacher have practiced co-teaching method in their ‘vocation and career’ class for the 1st graders of the middle school that uses an integrative class. This study aims to implement ‘vocation and career’ class by the special teacher and the career teacher practicing team-teaching on the view of co-teaching method, and to figure out the special teacher's practical knowledge that she has gained on the progress. The specific questions for the study are as followed: What are the essential factors for the special and the career teachers to practice co-teaching, and what they have felt on the progress?" The participants of this study are eight teachers; two career teachers containing a co-teacher, two general teachers, four special teachers containing the researcher, and two disabled students with integrative classes. The study has been proceeded for ten months since January 2019, and four periods of teaching has been practiced from April to June for each class in the career education classroom, 7 periods in total. Analyzing the collected data, 2 upper categories ‘class meeting co-teaching’, ‘special teacher meeting co-teaching’ 8 lower categories and 40 meaning units, has been released, and through the progress, the result of the study is as below: 1. For successful practice of co-teaching, school atmosphere of talking about classes and doing cooperation is more important than close relationship between teachers. Special teachers feel pressure because they have no experience of co-teaching, and it is not easy for them to find their colleague teachers to co-teach together. The participating special teachers agree with the necessity of co-teaching while they regard it as a burden. 2. Co-teaching should be started from easy activities that are not hard to prepare. At a secondary school, a theme-based activity such as a free semester system activity, a circle activity, and an after-school activity is more accessible for a special teacher and a general teacher to co-teach. 3. An ability that is necessary for a special teacher to do co-teaching is instructional adaptation. Continuous conference for student-centered class manufacturing, unified way disciplining students' unneeded noise, documenting the role of each teacher, and the instructional adaptation for the disabled students and advanced learning in the special class for their active class participation were necessary for the successful co-teaching procedure. Making conference between the teachers whenever it's needed is more efficient comparing with periodical meeting. Also, since the special teacher and co-teacher(career teacher) have different educational philosophies and instructional approaches or methods, they could reduce classroom turbulence when they unified the ways of managing classroom and disciplining students’ unneeded noise. Also, the roles of the two teachers have to be defined specifically on the document. Disabled students' advanced learning in the special class was necessary for boosting up their (integrative) class participation. Therefore, for a special teacher, instructional manufacturing is the essential capacity to let all students enjoy happy class. Suggestions of practicing co-teaching on a secondary school special education are as followed: Special teachers have learned about co-teaching but they are scared of practicing it because of no experience. Indifference to other curricula caused by their busy work and classes makes co-teaching difficult. Teachers agree with the educational effectiveness of co-teaching method and fusion education, but practicing with only personal capacity is not enough; a principal's administrative support is necessary. Also, finding a colleague teacher to co-teach is difficult since it cannot be done by one teacher. For successful co-teaching, general teachers have to aware of special teachers as equal colleague teachers that can instruct students on the same position.
