In this study, in the environment where the COVID-19 pandemic is widespread, which attribute factors are important and satisfied tourists in selecting tourist destinations by identifying the tourist destination selection attributes to which new attribute factors related to quarantine are added. This is a study to understand the effect of the overall satisfaction on behavioral intentions such as revisit intention and recommendation intention. In addition, it is intended to provide basic data for the tourism industry stakeholders to establish tourism policies and marketing strategies in “COVID-19 Daily Life” by identifying how the travel involvement affects as a moderating variable between the tourist destination selection attributes and tourism satisfaction. In order to achieve the research objectives, a survey tool was developed through theoretical consideration based on previous research, and an online survey was conducted on people with domestic travel experience after the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in Korea, and 244 copies of valid samples were obtained. For the collected data, the paired sample t-test, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0. As a result of conducting exploratory factor analysis, tourist destination selection attributes were derived from five factors: quarantine level, tourism experience, access convenience, regional characteristics, and support facilities. Also, tourism satisfaction, behavioral intention, and travel involvement were identified as single factors respectively through conducting exploratory factor analysis. In particular, it is meaningful that the quarantine level factor among tourist destination selection attributes is that tourists' interest and satisfaction in quarantine due to the spread of the COVID-19 have been factorized into a new variable for selecting tourist destinations. The impact of tourist destination selection attributes on overall tourism satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on tourism satisfaction in order of regional characteristics, access convenience, quarantine level, and tourism experience, while support facilities had no significant impact. In addition, overall tourism satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) influence on the behavioral intention. The moderating effect of travel involvement between tourist destination selection attributes and tourism satisfaction is that the interaction variable between regional characteristics and travel involvement is positively (+) effective, and the interaction variable between support facilities and travel involvement is negatively (-) effective. These research results could be used as basic data for establishing tourism policies and establishing marketing strategies for survival that enable stakeholders in the tourism industry, which are suffering from the spread of COVID-19, to actively respond to the prolonged the age of epidemic disease.
