Psychodrama anddrama therapy aretreatmentsthathavedeveloped individually in their respective areas. However, it is believed that the two fields, rooted in drama's healing properties, can derive richer therapeutic meanings and values through an integrated perspective. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare and analyze psychodramas and drama therapy to identify the characteristics of each field and to determine how the concept and technique of psychodramas can be used and what therapeutic meanings can be sharedwithindramatherapy. The result of reviewing the historical background of psychodramas and drama therapy showed that psychodramas have developed by distinguishing differences between drama therapy and each respective treatment area, but Moreno's theory and technique, which felt limited in linguistic psychoanalysis and focused on the healing of drama, also affectedthedevelopmentofdrama. Next, the drama therapy models affected by psychodramas were reviewed. First, Emunah's Five Phase model allows participants to experience dramatic play, gradually moving from a fictional world to an actual conflict situation containing their genuine relationships and problems. After that, psychodrama is conducted to explore key topics and experience catharsis. Finally, proceed to the integration of the therapeutic process through consciousness. Next, Landy's Role model provides various role-playing based on Moreno's role theory to recognize the role inside oneself and the opposite role and to internalize the guide role that can integrate the role ambivalence due to the two roles. Then, Linden's Omega Transpersonal Drama Therapy presents a healing process through surplus reality, such as dialogue with the divine identity, based on Moreno's theory of spontaneity. Finally, Johnson's Developmental Transformations model embodied Moreno's spontaneity theory in a theatrical form by suggestinga therapeutic process that restores spontaneity through the meeting of the existing body. These drama therapy models all developed their own treatment models by applying psychodrama techniques and theories to the treatment process in their own way, demonstratingtheinfluenceofpsychodramaondramatherapy. The result of comparing the progress of psychodrama and drama therapy, confirmed the difference between psychodrama and drama therapy. The play of psychodrama is centered on the main character, and gradually moves from everyday scenes to deep past experiences. As a result, the main character experiences catharsis with direct self-exposure. In addition, the director is placed in a more analytical and objective position by utilizing the auxiliary ego without participating as a role in the play. In the meantime, drama therapy uses fictional stories and archetypal characters to metaphorically reveal an individual's real life. In addition, the therapist directly participates in the play and functions as an assistant ego, becoming an object of metastasis, and at the same time, as a therapist whoprocesses, and was a goal to be promoted for change in participants. Next, a surplus reality shared a therapeutic meaning with the dramatic reality of drama therapy in the sense that it escapes from the everyday reality where only problems and symptoms exist, confronts the 'Tragic self,' reveals the inner truth of the individual, and promotes the power to attempt change. Finally, compared to role training in psychodrama, role-playing in drama therapy differs in that emotional immersion in the role and catharsis experience are not stressed as it repeats the process of wearing and taking off various roles. However, as a result, it has the same therapeutic significance in terms of creating a functional role that could incorporate an internalroleimbalance. As a result of analyzing actual cases of drama therapy based on this, the concepts and techniques of psychodramas such as ‘Act Fulfillment’, ‘Spontaneous Improvisation’, ‘Self-Presentation’, ‘Auxiliary ego’, and ‘Double’ were used in drama therapy work. Through this, it was confirmed that there were changes such as restoration of spontaneity and self-awareness in drama therapy, restoration of 'Tragic self' to 'Body of pure desire,' and recovery of social existence. In addition, throughout the whole process, the therapists functioned as assistant egos and guides, and as the session passed, the participants voluntarily functioned as each other's auxiliary egos and alter egos, and therapeutic interaction took place by maximizing repressed emotionsand falsebeliefs. Therefore, it was confirmed that drama therapy and psychodrama share the therapeutic value of restoring spontaneity to live a subjective and lively life through the process of revealing and exposing the pain of one's life beyond solving the conflicts and problems of the participants. Therefore, drama therapist will be able to bring more abundant therapeutic performance to participants by properly utilizing the treatment concepts and techniques of psychodrama withinthetreatmentprocess. Therefore, this study would be meaningful in that drama therapy includes the therapeutic factor of psychodrama and reveal the therapeutic meaning of the technique of psychodrama used in the dramatherapyprocess.
