This study is a description of the researcher's experience on how I was able to become an agent of change through the experience of "double poetry writing," which involves the process of writing and sharing poetry in a literature counseling group program, using autoethnography. Through this study, the researcher aimed to reflect on myself as a literature counselor and explore the meaning of poetry writing activities in a literature counseling group program. Personal reflection journals, program participation reports, and self-written poems were used as the main data for the study, and the data analysis was based on Saldaña(2021)'s emotion coding and value coding, and various literature sources were used to enhance the validity of the research. As a writing method, analytical and interpretive writing were mainly used. As a result of the study, three major themes are derived: (1) Uncomfortable words spoken in 'poetry' and difficult words heard in 'poetry' (2) ‘Poetry writing’ in a literature counseling group program: finding another me, and (3) ‘Sharing’ in a literature counseling group program: poetry is love. Writing poetry was an uncomfortable and difficulty experience for the researcher. The idea that poetry can only be written by talented people put pressure on writing poetry, and my insensitivity to bodily sensations and details made it difficult for me to write poetry. This process led me to question whether writing poetry could be useful in counseling. However, the researcher came to realize that the experience of writing poetry is a creative process of finding another self as the researcher repeatedly participated in the group program. Poetry writing in literature counseling is a ‘double poetry writing’ that allows its participants to experience constant ‘otherness’ and ‘living poetry,’ and it has become a process of inventing another self by learning the attitude of a poet who realizes the aesthetics of sensation, detail, and slowing down. In addition, the literature counseling group program allowed the researcher to experience change and healing through the experience of 'love' that empathizes and communicates with the other. In the middle ground of the work, I was able to experience what true communication is, as I and the other person met and felt a sense of togetherness and vivid unity. Literature counseling is an art that performs literary interaction, and it has become a process of experiencing change and healing which is accomplished by the joint performance of literary texts, the leaders and participants in the literature counseling group program. Through literature counseling, I was able to learn to be humble to an ambiguous other, and I was able to experience the hope of creating a new me and the healing through love.
