이 연구는 고등학생의 정보활용능력 평가를 위한 루브릭과 평가지 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 문헌을 조사하여 평가 도구 개발의 이론과 과정을 고찰하였고, 대학 단위, 지역 전문대학 단위, 주정부 단위, 고등학교 학군 단위에서 개발한 미국의 평가 도구를 분석하여 우리 고등학생의 정보활용 능력 평가 도구를 제시하였다.
