영유아 대상의 정서조절 선행연구에는 어떤 것들이 있는가? 그러나 교사와 영유아를 대상으로 한 정서조절 연구들은 유아 및 교사변인이 유아의 정서조절전략에 미치는 영향을 알아본 Lee(2011)의 연구, 유아의 정서조절 전략과 유아, 교사관계가 유아의 위축된 행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴 본 Kwon(2012)의 연구, 유아, 교사 관계 및 유아의 자기 조절능력이 또래 상호작용에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 Ji(2011), Kim과 Jeon(2010), Yeu(2009)의 연구들로 그리 많지 않다. 선행된 연구들의 주 연구대상은 유아였으며 연구방법은 유아들에게 가상의 상황을 설정하여 질문 하는 형식의 Lee(2011)의 연구를 제외하고는 모두 설문지를 통한 방법을 사용하였다.
