Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the awareness of sexual harassment and the coping behavior of recipients of sexual harassment. This study also assesses the factors that influence the coping behavior of nursing students during clinical practice. Methods: For this descriptive study, data were collected from November 15 to December 15, 2017. Participants included 221 nursing students recruited from nursing colleges located in three different areas. Results: 22% of the participants answered that they had experienced sexual harassment. Regarding the type of attacker, the majority of attacker was patient (83.7%). The sexual harassment awareness level was $4.22{\pm}0.40$, the degree of coping for those who experienced sexual harassment was $2.99{\pm}0.38$. Among the coping behaviors, mitigation ($3.48{\pm}0.39$) was the highest. The factors influencing the coping behavior of recipients of sexual harassment were sexual harassment awareness (${\beta}=0.24$, p=.016) and satisfaction with preventive education (${\beta}=0.45$, p<.001). Conclusion: In order to make a safe clinical practice environment, it is necessary to develop a practical sexual harassment prevention program, as well as a reporting and support system for the nursing students. Such a program will help students clearly recognize the sexual harassment situation and increase their abilities to cope with sexual harassment appropriately.

대상 데이터

본 연구의 대상자는 세 개의 각기 다른 도시(S, P, M시)에 소재한 4년제 간호학과에 재학 중이며 임상실습 경험이 있는 3, 4학년 학생으로 본 연구의 목적을 이해하고 설문에 동의한 221명의 간호학생이다. 대상자 수는 G-Power 3.

데이터처리

2) 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 성희롱 대처유형의 차이는 t-test와 ANOVA로 분석하였고, 사후검정은 Scheffe test를 실시하였다.
3) 대상자의 성희롱 인식 정도와 성희롱 대처유형 간의 관계는 Pearson‘s correlation coefficients로분석하였다.
4) 대상자의 성희롱 대처유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 단순회귀분석을실시하였다.

이론/모형

성희롱 인식은 Im [21]과 Lee [22]의 성희롱 인식조사용 설문지를 Lee 등[2]이수정, 보완한 도구를 사용하였다. 본 도구는 총 36문항, 5개 하부요인으로 구성되어 있으며 하부요인은 성희롱의 개념(6문항), 성희롱의 유형(12문항), 성희롱 원인(6문항), 성희롱의 가해자(7문항), 성희롱 예방교육(5문항)이다.
성희롱에 대한 대처유형은 Kim [23]의 도구를 Oh [24]가 수정, 보완한 도구로 측정하였다. 본 도구는 총 19문항, 4개의 하부요인으로 구성되며 하부요인은 회피(6문항), 완화(6문항), 조정(2문항), 직면(5문항)이다.

성능/효과

간호학생의 성희롱 인식 정도는 4.22± 0.40점이었고 성희롱 대처 정도는 2.99± 0.38점이었으며 대처유형별로 회피(3.17± 0.50), 완화(3.48± 0.39), 조정(2.67± 0.79), 직면(2.66± 0.54) 순으로 점수가 높게 나타났다(Table 2).
본 연구는 임상실습 시 간호학생의 성희롱 인식 정도와 성희롱 대처유형 간의 관계를 파악하고 임상실습 시 간호학생의 성희롱 대처유형에 영향을 주는 요인을 확인하여 성희롱 대처능력 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발에 대한 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 성희롱 인식과 대처유형 간에 유의한 상관관계가 있으며 성희롱 인식수준이 높을수록 성희롱에 대한 대처 성향이 강한 것을 확인하였으며 또한 성희롱 예방교육의 만족도가 높을수록 대처 성향이 강한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 안전한 실습환경 조성을 위해 간호학생이 성희롱 상황을 정확히 인식하고 성희롱 대처능력 향상을 위한 실질적인 예방 프로그램과 보고체계 구축 및 지원시스템 개발그리고 대규모 강의와 같은 일방적인 전달식 교육이 아닌 학생들이 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 토론, 역할극,시뮬레이션 등과 같은 다양한 교육방법을 개발하여 임상실습현장에서 실제로 활용할 수 있는 교육 프로그램이 필요함을 제언하며 본 연구 결과의 일반화를 위해 추후 반복연구를 시도해볼 것을 제언한다.
본 연구는 임상실습 시 간호학생의 성희롱 인식 정도와 성희롱 대처유형 간의 관계를 파악하고 간호학생의 성희롱 대처유형에 영향을 주는 요인을 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과에서 간호학생의 22.2%가 임상실습 중 성희롱 피해를 입었다고 하였으며 가해자의 83.7%가 환자였고 보호자가 다음으로 많았다. 이는 선행연구에서 50% 이상의 간호학생이 임상실습 중 성희롱 피해를 입었다는 결과보다는 낮은 수준이었으나 가해자 유형의 경우 많은 선행연구의 결과와 같았다[10,11,25].

후속연구
