결혼이민자 여성들이 한국에 왔을 때 겪는 어려움은? 결혼이민자 여성들은 한국에서 삶을 꾸려나가는데 필요한 지식이나 언어가 충분히 습득되지 못한 상태에서 한국에 오게 되는 경우가 많다. 그렇기 때문에 언어와 생활 방식의 차이로 한국에 적응하는데 상당한 기간이 소요될 수 있고, 한국어로 된 다양한 정보와 서비스 이용에 제약이 발생하여 삶을 영위해 나가는데 어려움을 경험할 수 있다(Du & Cho, 2017; Im, 2013: Jung,2017).
디지털 격차 실태를 파악하기 위해 지정한 계층은? 디지털 격차는 정보 사회에서 반드시 해결되어야 하는 과제로 사회적 불평등을 야기할 뿐만 아니라, 사회 통합을 저해하는 부정적인 요인으로 인식되고 있다(Im, 2013; Jung, 2017; Seo, 2014). 우리나라는 소비자들이 디지털 환경에서 소외받지 않고, 다양한 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 매년 소외 계층의 디지털 격차 실태를 확인하고 있으며, 장·노년, 장애인, 농어민, 북한이탈주민, 그리고 결혼이민자를 디지털 소외 계층으로 지정하고 있다(Jung, 2017; Oh, 2017; Seo, 2014).
