프로피온산에 대한 인식은? | 프로피온산은 세계보건기구(WHO) 13)에서는 식용 지방이 나 기름의 구성물로 분류되지는 않지만, 지방산의 산화에 의해 중간 대사산물로 발생한다고 하였고, 미국 환경청 (EPA) 14)에서는 프로피온산이 생체 내에서 일반적인 중간 대사산물로서 여러 아미노산이 분해되면서 생성되는 대사산물 중 하나라고 보고하였다.
