대식세포란? | 대식세포는 선천면역 반응에서 가장 중요한 역할을 수행하는 면역세포로, 이들이 활성화되면 탐식작용과 활성산소종(reactive oxygen species, ROS) 및 산화질소(II) (nitric oxide, NO)의 생산 등을 증가시켜 외부에서 침입한 병원체 및 이물을 제거한다(Forman과 Torres, 2002; MacMicking 등, 1997). 탐식작용에 의해 세포 내로 들어온 병원체는 대부분 분해되지만, 분해가 어려운 펩타이드 단편은 세포표면에 존재하는 주요 조직 적합성 복합체(major histocompatibility complex, MHC)와 결합하여 항원을 제시하고,이들을 T-cell이 인지하여 세포의 증식과 분화를 유도하게 된다(Aderem과 Underhill, 1999; Valitutti 등, 1995). | |
