[국내논문] 공유경제시대에서 도서관의 공유가치 실현을 위한 역할 도출에 관한 연구

이 연구는 공유경제의 특징과 편익 가치 등에 관한 이론적 논의와 검토과정을 통하여 공유경제가 가지는 잠재력과 가치를 분석하고, 도서관의 기능과 역할을 공유경제의 가치 측면에서 비교 분석하여 공유경제 환경에서 도서관의 역할을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 공유경제로부터 창출되는 가치를 경제적 가치, 사회적 가치, 커뮤니티 가치, 기술적 가치, 환경적 가치 등 5가지로 구분하여 공유경제의 잠재적 가치와 도서관의 역할, 기능, 가치가 유사함을 제시함으로써 이를 기반으로 공유경제시대에 도서관의 공유가치 실현을 위한 기능과 역할을 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 공유경제의 경제적 가치를 실현하는 도서관의 물건, 공간 공유, 사회적 가치를 실현하는 도서관의 지식정보서비스, 교육, 콘텐츠 공유, 커뮤니티 가치를 실현하는 도서관의 네트워크, 경험 재능 공유, 기술적 가치를 실현하는 신기술과 편리성의 공유, 그리고 환경적 가치를 실현하는 도서관의 친환경성으로 도출 및 제시하였다.

공유경제란? TIME(2011)지에서는 ‘세상을 바꾸는 10가지 아이디어’ 중 하나로 공유경제의 대표적 특징인 협력적 소비(Collaborative Consumption)를 선정하였으며, 글로벌 플랫폼 기업과 스타트업의 70%가 공유 플랫폼 경제를 표방하고 있다. 공유경제는 새로운 경제 패러다임으로 단순히 소비자들의 소비형태 변화 또는 경제적 이익 추구만을 의미하는 것이 아닌 자원의 본래 가치를 효율적인 이용을 통해 자원절약, 비용절감, 지속가능한 발전, 공동체의 복원과 활성화 등 경제적·사회적·커뮤니티·기술적·환경적 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 개념으로 인식되고 있다.
