다양한 의료 현장에서 양질의 간호제공과 다양한 상황에서 자신의 역할 변화에 적응하기 위해서는 간호전문직관 정립이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 간호대학생의 봉사활동, 공동체의식 및 간호전문직관의 관계를 확인하고, 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 2019년 6월 D광역시 소재 일개대학 간호학과 재학생 중 연구 참여에 동의한 160명을 편의표집 하였다. 자료 분석은 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients, hierarchical multiple regression analysis를 시행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 연구대상자의 간호전문직관은 중간 이상이었으며, 봉사활동 동기, 봉사지속성 여부에 따라 간호전문직관은 차이를 보였다. 봉사활동 만족도와 공동체 의식(r=.47, p<.001), 간호전문직관과 봉사활동 만족도는 정상관관계를 보였다(r=.51, p<.001). 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인은 공동체의식(p<.001), 봉사활동 만족도(p<.001)로서 이들의 설명력은 37.9%였다(F=20.38, p<.001). 따라서, 간호대학생들에게 전공분야를 연계한 다양한 봉사활동에 대해 자발적으로 참여하도록 하며, 봉사활동이 지속되도록 관리함으로써 공동체의식을 함양하고, 간호사로서의 자긍심과 전문직으로서의 정체성 확립에 도움이 되는 간호교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

Establishing nursing professionalism is important for providing quality nursing care in various clinical settings and adapting to changing roles in a range of situations. The aim of this study was to identify the influence of volunteer activities and sense of community on nursing professionalism for nursing students. A convenience sampling method of 160 students in a nursing department of university in D city was used in June 2019. Data were analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. The nursing professionalism score was above the middle level and differed according to the volunteer motivation and activity continuity significantly. Satisfaction with volunteer activities had a significant positive correlation with a sense of community (r=.47, p<.001), and nursing professionalism had a significant positive correlation with the satisfaction with volunteer activities (r=.51, p<.001). The factors affecting nursing professionalism were a sense of community (p<.001) and satisfaction with volunteer activities (p<.001); this model could explain 37.9% (F=20.38, p<.001). Therefore, nursing students are encouraged to participate voluntarily in a range of activities linked to their field, nurture a sense of community, and develop nursing education programs that help build pride as a nurse and establish nursing professionalism.

15 (medium), 독립변수 9개로 두어 산출했을 때 적정 표본 크기는 141명이었다[14]. 탈락율을 고려하여 160명을 예상 연구대상자 수로 산출하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 탈락율 없이 160부를 분석대상으로 하였다.

데이터처리

대상자의 일반적 특성과 봉사활동 특성 및 주요변수들은 빈도와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차를 이용하여 분석하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 주요 연구변수의 차이는 t-test, 혹은 ANOVA를 이용하여 분석하였으며. 사후검정은 Scheffé test를 시행하였다. 주요 연구변수 사이의 상관관계는 변수들이 정규분포하여 Pearson’s Correlation Coefficients를 이용하여 분석하였으며, 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인은 hierarchical multiple regression analysis를 시행하였다.
사후검정은 Scheffé test를 시행하였다. 주요 연구변수 사이의 상관관계는 변수들이 정규분포하여 Pearson’s Correlation Coefficients를 이용하여 분석하였으며, 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인은 hierarchical multiple regression analysis를 시행하였다.

이론/모형

간호전문직관은 Yeun, Kwon과 Ahn [10]이 개발한 도구를 Kim [19]이 요인분석을 통해 수정보완한 도구를 사용하였다. 간호전문직관은 총 18문항으로 하위영역은 전문적 자아개념 6문항, 사회적 인식 5문항, 간호의 전문성 3문항, 간호계의 역할 2문항, 간호의 독자성 2문항으로 구성되어 있다.
공동체의식은 Chavis 등[17]에 의해 개발된 공동체의식 지표(Sense of Community Index)를 토대로 구성한 Park [18]의 공동체의식 척도를 사용하였다. 공동체의식은 총 16문항으로 하위영역은 구성원 의식, 상호영향의식, 욕구의 통합과 충족, 정서적 연계로 각 4문항씩으로 구성되어 있다.
봉사활동 만족도는 대상자들이 자원봉사활동을 하면서 느끼는 만족도를 의미하며, Park [15]이 수정 보완하여 사용하였던 자원봉사활동 만족도 척도를 대학생 대상으로 Shin [16]이 사용한 도구를 사용하였다. 봉사활동 만족도는 총 18문항으로 각 문항은 5점 Likert 척도로 ‘매우 그렇다’는 5점, ‘전혀 그렇지 않다’는 1점으로 구성되었으며, 점수가 높을수록 봉사활동 만족도가 높다는 것을 의미한다.
