간호사가 태움을 당했을 때 어떤 현상이 일어나는가? | 간호사들이 경험하게 되는 괴롭힘은 간호사들 사이에서는 일명 ‘태움’ 또는 ‘태우기’라는 용어로 사용되는데, 이것은 간호사가 업무의 미숙함과 그에 따른 실수에 대해 과도하고 부당하게 비난을 받는 데서 오는 스트레스를 말하며, 신규간호사가 현장에 적응할 때 당연히 발생하는 과정으로 받아들여질 정도로 간호업무 환경에 자연스럽게 스며들어 있다고 보고되고 있다[7]. 간호사들은 괴롭힘을 받음으로써 불안, 두려움, 불면과 우울 등과 같은 정신적인 증상과 피로, 두통, 체중감소 등의 신체적인 증상을 나타내며[8, 9], 이는 이직으로의 영향을 미치고[10], 결과적으로 의료기관 내 부정적인 업무환경을 초래하게 된다. |
