혈류제한운동이란? | 최근에는 1980년 중반에 개발된 혈류제한운동 (bloodflow restriction)이 각광을 받고 있는데[8] 이 운동의 방법은 혈류를 제한할 수 있는 커프 (cuff)를 팔이나 다리의 가장 위 부분에 착용하여 동맥의 혈류를 줄이고 정맥의 혈류를 제한하여 낮은 강도에서 운동을 한다[9]. 일반적으로 높은 강도 운동 시 동원되는 근섬유 II형은 근비대 (muscle hypertrophy)에 중요한 영향을 미치는데[10], 낮은 강도의 혈류제한 훈련에서 운동 강도가 낮음에도 근섬유 II형이 동원되는데 그 이유는 혈류가 제한이 되어 세포안의 환경이 산성이 되어 근육 구심성신경(muscle afferent)의 화학적자극 III형과 IV형에(chemosensitive group III and IV) 자극이 되어서 근섬유 II형이 동원이 된다[11]. | |
