어머니의 역할 적응에 관한 분석 중 자신감에 대한 효과 분석시 프로그램의 적용 전과 후에 대하여 기존 연구결과들과 비교하여 어떤 차이점들이 있었는가? | 다음으로 프로그램의 적용 효과를 살펴보면, 우선 미숙아 어머니의 어머니 역할 수행 자신감은 프로그램 적용 전 실험 군은 44.58점, 대조군은 46.98점으로 나타났는데, 이는 동일한 도구로 이용하여 신생아 어머니의 자신감을 조사한 Lee [21] 의 연구에서 나타난41.88점보다 높은 것으로, 미숙아 어머니의 경우 작고 연약해 보이는 아기로 인해 어머니 역할 수행 자신감이 오히려 낮으리라는 예상과는 상반되는 결과이다. 이런 자신감 정도를 고려할 때 아기 돌보기에 대한 정보 제공과 지지 간호를 통해 미숙아 어머니의 양육 능력을 충분히 증진시킬 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 프로그램 적용 후의 어머니 역할 수행 자신감은 두 군 모두에서 높아졌으나 실험군이 대조군에 비해 유의하게 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 이런 자신감 증가는 미숙아에게 캥거루 케어를 적용했던 Lee 등[25]의 연구와 촉각 접촉이 자신감을 증가시킨다는 Moon과 Koo [26]의 연구 결과와 일치하는 것으로, 본 프로그램을 통해 신생아중환자실 입원 초기부터 지속적으로 실험군 어머니가 실제 아기 돌봄에 참여하여 경험할 수 있었기 때문으로 생각된다. 이는 또한 신생아를 돌본 경험이 있는 경우 자신감이 높았다는 Lee [21]와퇴원 전 지속적인 지지와 체계적인 정보를 제공 받은 후 양육 자신감이 높아진 Choi와 Shin [27]의 연구결과와도 일치한다. 한편 대조군에서도 사후 조사에서 어머니 역할 수행 자신 감이 높게 나타난 것은 본 연구대상 신생아중환자실은 면회 자율화를 시행하고 있어 대조군도 원하는 시간에 아기를 볼 수 있으며 캥거루 케어를 비롯한 피부 접촉이나 수유 연습 등은 제한하지 않았기 때문으로 보인다. |
