고령 여성집단의 노화에 따른 특성은? | 일반적 특성을 통해 확인된 중 고령 여성집단의 의학적 건강 문제는 두드러진 차이를 발견하기 어려우나 두 집단간 건강문 제를 받아들이는 경험에는 차이가 나타났다. 중년여성의 경우 서서히 찾아오는 여러 측면의 건강변화를 인식하고 수용하는 것 자체를 혼란스러워 하는 반면 고령여성은 노화에 따른 건강 변화는 인지하고 받아들이지만 그에 따른 현실적인 고통을 경 험하는 모습을 보였다. 이러한 차이는 중년여성의 경우 노화의 과정에서 ‘신체와 마음의 불협화음’을 경험하는 반면, 고령여 성은 노화 자체는 부정적으로 보지 않지만 질병, 의존과 같은 현실의 문제를 고려한다는 선행연구의 보고와 유사한 맥락에 있음을 알 수 있다[27,28]. | |
