비구조적 측만이 나타나는 원인은 무엇인가? 추간판 탈출증(Herniated Intervertebral Disc, HIVD)은 추간판의 퇴행성 변화에 의해 수핵을 싸고 있는 섬유륜의 파열로 수핵이 돌출되어 척수의 경막이나 신경근을 압박하여 요통 및 신경증상을 유발하는 질환이다. 추간판의 팽윤이나 수핵의 탈출에 의한 통증으로 환자가 자신의 체간을 통증이 줄어들수 있는 방향으로 이동시키는 자세를 취하여 나타나는 비구조적 측만이 나타날 수 있다1).
