초등학교 고학년(초 4)부터 중학교(중 3)까지 다문화 가정 청소년의 자아존중감이 어떤 발달궤적을 보이는지 확인하고, 동일 시점에서의 사회적 지지(가족, 친구, 교사)가 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 동시효과, 1년 전의 과거 시점의 사회적 지지(가족, 친구, 교사)가 1년 후의 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 지연효과를 분석한 결과는 어떠한가? | 다문화청소년패널연구의 6개년도 자료를 분석했으며, 분석 대상은 1,296명이다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 무조건 분할함수 성장모형에 기초했을 때 다문화 가정 청소년의 자아존중감은 초등학교 고학년 시기 동안은 증가하다가, 중학교 시기에서는 감소하는 특징을 보였다. 또한 초기치, 1기 변화율, 2기 변화율에 개인차가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 초기치가 높을수록 초등학교 고학년 시기 동안의 자아존중감의 증가폭은 작은 것으로 나타났으며, 초기치가 높을수록 중학교 시기 동안의 자아존중감 감소폭은 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조건 분할함수 성장모형 분석 결과, 가족 지지와 교사 지지의 동시효과는 6개년도 모두, 친구 지지의 동시효과는 중 3시기를 제외한 5개년도에서 통계적으로 유의하였다. 가족 지지의 지연효과는 초 4, 초 5, 초 6 시점이 1년 뒤 시점에, 친구 지지의 지연효과는 초 6, 중 2 시점이 1년 뒤 시점에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 교사 지지의 지연효과는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 다문화 가정 청소년의 자아존중감 증진을 위해서는 가족, 친구, 교사의 사회적 지지가 중요함을 시사한다. |
