Conclusion: This study suggested that, to improve nursing students' career maturity, nursing colleges and training fields should collaboratively make an efforts to reduce students' stress by building educational clinic environments including managing conflicts in interpersonal relationships among patients, caregivers, and medical and non-medical personnel, and improving inappropriate role models in nursing.

임상실습 스트레스는 임상실습에 대한 불안·공포 등의 부정적 요인으로 인하여 효율적으로 임상실습을 진행하는 데 방해가 되는 상태를 의미한다[16]. 본 연구에서는 Kim과 Lee [17]가 수정·보완한 도구를 사용했다. 임상실습 스트레스는 임상 실습환경, 바람직하지 못한 역할 모델, 실습업무부담, 대인관계 갈등, 환자와의 갈등의 5개 영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 총 24문항으로 각 문항에 대해서 5점 척도를 구성하여 ‘전혀 그렇지 않다’ 1점에서 ‘매우 그렇다’ 5점까지 총점은 24∼120점 범위이며, 점수가 높을수록 임상실습 스트레스 정도가 높음을 의미한다.

본 연구와 같이 부적절한 역할 모델 경험이 진로성숙도의 준비성이 더 높게 나타난 것은 진로성숙도의 준비성이 높은 간호대학생의 경우 임상실습 환경에서 간호사나 간호관리자의 부정적인 역할 모델을 경험했을 때 이를 더 민감하게 인식하고 자신의 진로 방향을 선택하고 준비과정에서 이러한 부정적인 경험을 고려하고자 하는 필요성을 높게 인식하기 때문으로 해석된다. 이 결과는 선행연구와 다른 결과로서, 추후 반복 연구가 더 요구된다.
