팬데믹 이후 대학의 비대면 원격 학습 전환으로 도서관의 정보 이용환경은 급격하게 변화하고 있고, 대학도서관은 이러한 변화에 따른 요구나 기대에 부응하는 연구 및 교육 지원 서비스를 제공해야 할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내외의 대학도서관이 팬데믹 이후에 제공하고 있는 온라인 정보서비스와 이에 대한 원격 학습자들의 이용경험과 요구사항을 파악하기 위하여, 1) 국내외 대학도서관 60곳이 제공하고 있는 온라인 정보서비스의 현황, 그리고 2) 원격 학습을 하는 대학생들의 대학도서관 온라인 정보서비스의 이용경험 및 요구사항 등을 조사, 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 팬데믹 이후 국내외 대학도서관에서는 다양한 온라인 정보서비스를 제공하여 비대면 환경에 대응하고 있었으며, 이용자는 대학도서관의 전자자료 이용 서비스와 온라인 이용자 교육 서비스에 대한 높은 이용경험과 요구사항을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 국내외의 대학도서관이 팬데믹 발생 후에 제공하는 온라인 정보서비스의 현황 및 대학생들의 이용경험 및 요구사항에 대한 분석을 토대로 팬데믹 위기 속에서 원격 학습으로 전환된 대학의 교육과 도서관의 온라인 정보서비스의 질적 향상 및 이용자의 요구사항에 대응하는 서비스를 기획하는 방안을 제시하였다.
