본 연구는 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계 유능성을 한국 간호대학생과 비교 분석하기 위함이다. 2019년 11월 01부터 12월 30일까지 한국 B 시 소재 1개 대학교와 중국 Y 시 소재 1개 대학교에 재학 중인 조선족 대학생 160명 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용한 서술적 조사연구이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, independent t-test, pearson's correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 한국 간호대학생의 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계 유능성 점수는 중국 조선족 간호대학생보다 높았다. 한국 간호대학생의 공감능력은 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 유능성과 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력은 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 유능성과 중등 정도의 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 공감능력이 높을수록 긍정심리자본이 높고 대인관계 유능성이 높았다. 이상의 연구 결과 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계를 높이기 위해 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 특성에 맞는 공감능력 향상, 긍정심리자본 강화, 대인관계 유능성 촉진 등 여러 가지 교육 프로그램 개발과 효과검증이 필요하다.

Comparative analysis of the nursing students' empathy ability, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal competence of Korea and Korean-Chinese in China was conducted. Data were collected from160 survey questionnaires from Nov.1 to Dec 30, 2019, from Korea and China. The data use frequency and percentage, mean, independent t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were analyzed. The results showed that Korean nursing students' empathy, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal competence scores were higher than Korean-Chinese nursing students in China. The empathy ability of Korean nursing students had no significant correlation with positive psychological capital and interpersonal competence. The empathy ability of the nursing students of Korean-Chinese had a significant positive correlation with the positive psychological capital and interpersonal competence. The higher the empathy ability, the higher the positive psychological capital and higher the interpersonal competence. Several intervention programs will be needed to increase the empathy ability, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal relationship of Korean-Chinese nursing students.

연구자가 각 대학교 간호학 학장을 만나 연구의 목적과 자료수집 방법을 설명하고 허락을 받은 후, 취약계층 보호 측면에서 학과 교수가 연구자임이 노출되지 않도록 보조연구원이 연구와 관련된 전반적인 사항을 설명하도록 하였다. 연구의 목적과 연구 진행 절차, 익명성 보장 등에 대한내용을 설명한 뒤 연구에 참여하기로 희망한 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였다. 자료의 익명성을 보장하기 위해 동의서와 설문지를 각각 구분하여 회수하였다.

대상 데이터

Table 1에서 보는 바와 같이 연구 대상자는 총 160명 으로 평균 나이는 21.8±2.1세였다. 한국 간호대학생 중 남자는 13.
대상자 수의 산출 근거는 G-power 3.1 program을 사용하여 t-test, difference between two independent means으로 설정하고 효과크기는 중간 효과 크기 0.5, 검정력 .80, 유의수준 .05로 설정 하였을 때 최소 표본 수는 128명으로 산정되었고, 20%의 탈락률을 고려하여 한국과 중국 각 80명씩 총 160명을 편의 추출하였다.
연구 대상자는 한국 B 시 소재 1개 간호대학생 3, 4학년과 중국 Y시 소재 1개 간호대학에 재학 중인 조선족 대학생 2, 3, 4학년 중, 본 연구의 목적을 이해하고 연구 참여에 동의한 160명이었다. 중국 간호대학의 학제 특성상 임상실습은 2학년부터 진행하여 연구 대상 제외 기준은 임상실습 경험이 없는 한국 간호대학생 1, 2학년과 중국 조선족 간호대학생 1학년으로 하였다.

이론/모형

본 연구에서는 공감능력 측정도구로 Hojat 등[21]이 개발한 Jefferson scale of empathy를 Ryu와 Bang[22] 이 간호사 대상으로 번역하고 Jung Kye-A[23]가 간호대학생에 맞게 수정 보완한 것을 사용하였다. 이 도구는 3가지 하위영역으로 관점수용 10문항, 공감적 치료 6문항, 환자의 입장에 서기 1문항 총17개 문항으로 구성 되였다.
본 연구에서는 긍정심리자본 측정 도구로 Luthans, Youssef & Avolio(2007)가 개발한 긍정심리자본 척도를 임태홍[24]이 번안 및 수정하여 측정한 것을 사용하였다. 이 도구는 4가지 하위 영역으로 자기효능감 5문항, 낙관주의 5문항, 희망 5문항, 회복탄력성 3문항 총 18개 문항으로 구성되었다.
본 연구에서는 대인관계 유능성 도구로 Buhrmester 등[25]이 개발하고 한나리와 이동귀[26]가 번역 및 수정하여 대학생에 맞게 타당화한 도구를 사용하였다. 이 도구는 5가지 하위영역으로 관계 형성 및 개시 8문항, 권리나 불쾌함에 대한 주장 7문항, 타인에 대한 배려 7문항, 갈등관리 6문항, 적절한 자기 개방 3문항 총 31문항으로 구성 되였다.

성능/효과

42) 보다높았다. 공감능력(t=7.012, p<.001), 긍정심리자본(t=4.546, p<.001) 및 대인관계 유능성(t=5.223, p<.001)은 한국과 중국 조선족 간호대학생 사이에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.
01 )과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 공감능력이 높을수록 긍정심리자본이 높고 대인관계 유능성이 높았다(Table 4).
연변에서 조선족 초, 중, 고를 다닌 대학생들은 비록 한글과 중국어를 동시에 배우지만 주로 한글을 사용하기 때문에 대학에 진학한 후 다민족이 함께 중국어를 사용할 때 혹은 임상 실습 과정에서 상대방과 교류를 할 때 어려움을 느끼고 공감이 부족한 걸로 사료된다[31]. 두 나라 모두 공감능력 점수는 평균 점수보다 높았고 하위 요인 중 한국 간호대학생의 공감적 치료점수가 제일 높았고 중국 조선족 간호대학생은 관점 수용 점수가 제일 높았다. 기존 중국 간호대학생을 대상으로 한 연구에서도 동일한 결과가 나온 것을 확인할 수 있었다[32, 33].
하였다. 본 연구에서 한국 간호대학생 긍정심리 자본과 하위 요인 점수 모두 중국 조선족 간호대학생보다 높았다. 실제로 긍정심리자본의 하위 요소인 자기효능감, 낙관주의, 희망, 회복탄력성을 주제로 한 교육 프로그램은 한국에서 많이 진행되고 있었으나 중국에서는 자기효능감과 회복탄력성 외에는 극히 적은 것으로 보여 향후 개별 속성보다는 복합적인 개념으로 다차원적인 요소를 모두 포함한 체계적인 학습 프로그램이 필요될 것으로 생각된다.
서술적 조사연구이다. 연구결과 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계 유능성 점수 모두가 한국 간호대학생보다 낮게 나왔다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다.
중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력은 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 유능성과 중등정도의 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 긍정심리자본의 하위 요인과는 희망, 낙관주의, 자기효능감, 회복탄력성의 순으로 상관관계를 보였다.
한국 간호대학생의 공감능력은 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 유능성과 유의한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 긍정심리자본의 하위 요인인 자아효능감과 희망과는 얕은 양의 상관관계가 나왔다. 사회복지사들을 대상으로 한 연구에[37] 의하면 공감능력은 긍정심리자본과 상관관계가 있고, 학부생과 대학원생을 대상으로 한 연구[38, 39]에서는 대인관계 유능성과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 보고되어 본 연구 결과와는 차이가 있었다.

후속연구

첫째, 본연구에서는 한 개 대학교 조선족 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였으므로 추후 다른 민족으로 확대하여 서로 간의 상호작용을 통한 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계 유능성을 알아볼 필요가 있다. 둘째, 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 특성에 맞는 공감능력 향상, 긍정심리자본 강화, 대인관계 유능성 촉진 등 교육 프로그램 개발과 효과검증이 필요하다. 셋째, 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감, 대인관계에 대한 임상실습과정 경험을 토대로 공감이 조선족 간호대학생에게서의 실질적 의미파악을 위한 질적 연구가 필요하다.
둘째, 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 특성에 맞는 공감능력 향상, 긍정심리자본 강화, 대인관계 유능성 촉진 등 교육 프로그램 개발과 효과검증이 필요하다. 셋째, 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감, 대인관계에 대한 임상실습과정 경험을 토대로 공감이 조선족 간호대학생에게서의 실질적 의미파악을 위한 질적 연구가 필요하다.
사회복지사들을 대상으로 한 연구에[37] 의하면 공감능력은 긍정심리자본과 상관관계가 있고, 학부생과 대학원생을 대상으로 한 연구[38, 39]에서는 대인관계 유능성과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 보고되어 본 연구 결과와는 차이가 있었다. 이러한 선행연구에서는 본 연구와는 다른 표집 대상이었고 도구 또한 부동한 것으로 추후 간호대학생 대상으로 연구가 더 필요한 것으로 사료된다.
따라서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 본연구에서는 한 개 대학교 조선족 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였으므로 추후 다른 민족으로 확대하여 서로 간의 상호작용을 통한 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계 유능성을 알아볼 필요가 있다. 둘째, 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 특성에 맞는 공감능력 향상, 긍정심리자본 강화, 대인관계 유능성 촉진 등 교육 프로그램 개발과 효과검증이 필요하다.
