창업 초기 창업가의 역량이 미진하고, 자원이 풍부하지 않으면서 네트워크에 한계가 있는 스타트업은 지속적 스케일업이 어렵다. 본 연구는 ICT 스타트업 중에서 스케일업에 성공한 �� 스타트업을 사례로 선정하여 ERIS 모델을 기반으로 ICT 스타트업이 성공하는 첫 단계에서 발생하는 스케일업 과정에 대한 사례분석을 진행했다. 분석결과, 창업가의 경험적 역량, 다양한 산업 간의 지식의 융합, 공공기관 주도의 연구개발 과제의 참여, 고객과 기업간의 소통 채널 운영, 프로젝트형 캠페인의 활용이 ICT 스타트업의 스케일업에 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 학술적으로 본 연구는 ERIS 모델이 향후 ICT 스타트업의 스케일업과 신시장 기업 성공요인 분석 모델로써 의미가 있음을 확인 및 검증한 것에 그 의미가 있다. 또한 실무적으로는 ICT 스타트업의 초기 시장 경쟁력을 확보하고 스케일업을 하기 위한 전략적 전개의 참조사례로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
