본 연구는 표준화 환자를 활용한 정신간호 시뮬레이션 실습의 교육 효과를 확인하기 위해 D광역시 소재 대학 간호학과에 재학중인 3학년을 대상으로 2021년 9월부터 11월까지 자료 수집하여 진행되었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 일반적 특성과 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력, 학습자기효능감, 학습만족도에 대한 시뮬레이션수업 전·후 결과를 비교 검증하였다. 연구 결과 교육 후 의사소통능력(t=-3.199, p=.004)과 학습만족도(t=-3.342, p=.003)는 유의하게 상승 되었다. 그러나 문제해결능력(t=-1.875, p=.072)과 학습자기효능감(t=-1.432, p=.164)은 전·후 결과값에 변화가 있었으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 따라서 간호대학생의 의사소통능력과 학습만족도 증진을 위해 표준화 환자를 적용한 교육이 지속적으로 운영될 필요가 있다.
