본 연구는 간호대학생의 MBTI에 따른 돌봄효능감의 차이를 알아보고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 경남지역 1개대학의 간호학과 3, 4학년 109명이다. 자료분석은 independent t-test와 one-way ANOVA을 실시하였다. 연구결과 돌봄효능감에 유의미한 차이를 보이는 일반적 특성은 전공만족도(3.63, p<.001), 실습만족도(4.49, p=0.013), 건강상태(2.91, p=0.004)였다. 돌봄효능감에 유의미한 차이를 보이는 MBTI는 태도지표 중 EP형(3.74, p=0.013)였다. 본 연구결과는 돌봄효능감 향상을 위한 교육프로그램에 기초자료가 될 것이라 생각한다. 후속연구를 위해 연구의 일반화를 위해 대규모 표본을 적용한 반복 연구, 돌봄효능감 향상을 위해 MBTI를 적용한 교육프로그램 개발과 프로그램 효과성 분석연구, 돌봄효능감을 측정을 위한 도구 개발 연구를 제언한다.
