본 연구는 119구급대원 응급구조사에 대한 신종 감염병에 대한 지식 정도와 교육 현황, 스트레스, 교육의 필요도를 확인하여 신종 감염병에 대한 감염관리 교육에 기초가 되는 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 자료수집 기간은 2022년도 08월 10일부터 9월 18일까지 총 39일간이었고 총 105부이다. 본 연구의 분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구 결과, 119구급대원 중 응급구조사의 성별은 남자가 54명(51.4%), 여자 51명(48.6%)으로 남자가 여자보다 많았으며 연령은 20대가 47명(44.8%), 30대 이상이 58명(55.2%)으로 30대 이상이 많았다. 총근무경력은 3년 이상 5년 이하가 37명(35.2%)으로 가장 높았다. 119구급대원 응급구조사의 COVID-19에 대한 교육 현황, 스트레스 및 신종 감염병에 대한 교육 필요도를 확인하고자 시도되었으며, COVID-19에 대한 교육 현황은 충분하지 못하였고, 신종 감염병에 대한 교육 요구도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 신종 감염병에 자주 노출되는 119구급대원 중 응급구조사에게 이론 교육을 포함하여 개인보호장비 이론 및 실기 교육 훈련이 필요하다. 응급구조사가 되기 전인 대학생들의 교과목에 신종감염병과 개인보호장비 이론 및 실기 교육 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.

This study investigated to provide basic data for infection control education on new infectious diseases by confirming the level of knowledge, training status, stress, and need for training on new infectious diseases for 119 emergency medical technicians (EMT). This data collection period was a total of 39 days from August 10 to September 18, 2022, and a total of 105 copies were collected. The analysis of this study used the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the study, among the 119 paramedics, the gender of the EMT was 54 men (51.4%) and 51 women (48.6%), with more men than women, with 47 people in their 20s (44.8%) and those in their 30s or older. There were 58 people (55.2%), most of whom were in their 30s or older. The highest total work experience was 3 to 5 years (37 people (35.2%)). In the pandemic situation, an attempt was made to check the education status of 119 paramedics on COVID-19 and the need for education on new infectious diseases. As a result of the study, the status of education on COVID-19 was insufficient. The demand for education on new infectious diseases was found to be high. Among 119 emergency responders who are frequently exposed to new infectious diseases, theoretical and practical training in personal protective equipment, stress, including theoretical training, is needed. A theoretical and practical education program on new infectious diseases and personal protective equipment should be developed as a subject for college students before becoming EMT.

제안 방법

본 연구의 대상은 전국적으로 근무하고 있는 119 구급대원으로 근무하는 1급 응급구조사로 하였으며, 연구대상자에게 연구의 목적 및 참여의 자율성과 수집된 자료는 연구 목적 외에는 사용하지 않음을 명확히 설명하고 이에 동의하고 서면동의서에 서명한 대상자에게 자기기입식조사를 실시하였다. 연구대상자 표본수의 결정은 G power 3.
인구사회학적 특성은 성별, 연령, 근무경력 (3년 미만, 3-5년, 5년 이상)으로 구성하였다.

대상 데이터

8을 적용한 결과 105명이었다. 탈락률을 고려하여 119구급대원 115명을 대상으로 설문지를 배포 후 회수하여, 이중 불성실하거나 회수되지 않은 설문 10부를 제외한 105부를 대상으로 하였다. 본 자료수집 기간은 2022년도 08월 10일부터 9월 18일까지 총 39일간이었다.

성능/효과

본 연구는 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서, 119구급대원 응급구조사의 COVID-19에 대한 교육 현황, 스트레스, 및 신종 감염병에 대한 교육 필요도를 확인하고자 시도되었으며, COVID-19에 대한 교육 현황은 충분하지 못하였고, COVID-19를 포함한 신종 감염병에 대한 교육요구도는 높은 것으로 나타났다.

후속연구

신종 감염병에 무수히 노출되는 119구급대원 중 응급구 조사가 많은 데 비해 신종 감염병에 관련된 지식적인 교육을 포함하여 개인보호장비 이론 및 실기 교육 등이 상대적으로 부족하기에 현장에서 일하는 응급구조사가 되기 전인 대학생들의 교과목에 신종 감염병과 개인보호장비 이론 및 실기 교육 프로그램이 개발되어 이들이 응급구조사가 되어 신종 감염병 환자를 대할 때 도움이 될 것이라 사료된다. 또한 이미 활동하고 있는 응급구조사들을 위하여 보수교육 등에서도 신종 감염병 감염을 방지하기 위해 추가적인 이론 및 실기 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 추가하여 신종 감염병 환자들을 더욱 안전하게 대할 수 있고 나아가 응급구조사 스스로 보호할 수 있도록 개선되어야 할 것이라고 사료된다.
