The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between personality, positive psychological capital, and academic resilience of nursing students and to identify the factors affecting academic resilience of nursing students. Data were collected from 199 nursing students in their first and second year at C nursing college in M-gun, J-do, and a survey was conducted from July 10 to July 28, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearsons correlation coefficient, Stepwise multiple regression analysis was conducted. Personality had a significant positive correlation with positive psychological capital(r=.62, p<.001) and academic resilience(r=.68, p<.001), and positive psychological capital had a significant positive correlation with academic resilience(r=.79, p<.001). The major factor influencing the academic resilience of nursing students was positive psychological capital, followed by personality, interpersonal relationship, and college life satisfaction, and their total explanatory power was 72% (F=102.85, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop an educational program that can increase positive psychological capital in order to strengthen the academic resilience of nursing students, and efforts should be made to introduce and manage it in the nursing curriculum.

제안 방법

연구도구는 구조화된 질문지를 이용하였고 설문지 구성은 대상자의 일반적 특성 9(성별, 연령, 학년, 종교, 간호학과 지원동기, 성격, 대인관계, 대학생활만족도, 전공만족도), 인성 32, 긍정심리자본 18, 학업탄력성 29 문항을 합쳐 총 88문항으로 구성되었다.

대상 데이터

본 연구의 자료수집은 2023년 7월 10일부터 2023년 7월 28까지 J도 M군 소재 C간호대학에 재학 중인 1∼2학년을 대상으로 하였다
또한 설문 완료 후 소정의 사은품을 제공하였다. 총 210부의 설문지를 배부 및 회수하였고 이 중 불성실한 응답지 11부를 제외한 총 199 부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다.

데이터처리

1) 대상자의 일반적 특성, 인성, 긍정심리자본, 학업탄력성 정도는 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차 등의 기술통계를 이용하여 분석하였다.
2) 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 인성, 긍정심리자본, 학업탄력성의 차이는 독립표본 t-test와 ANOVA를 하였고, 사후 분석은 Scheffé test로 분석하였다.
3) 대상자의 인성, 긍정심리자본, 학업탄력성 정도의 상관관계를 확인하기 위해 Pearson correlation coefficient로 분석하였다.
4) 대상자의 학업탄력성에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 단계적 다중회귀분석(stepwise multiple regression)을 시행하였다.

성능/효과

연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 간호대학생의 학업탄력성 정도는 5점 만점 중 3.88점으로 중간 이상이었고, 일반적 특성에 따른 학업탄력성 정도는 대학생활만족도, 전공만족도, 대인관계, 지원동기, 성격에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 학업탄력성은 인성, 긍정심리자본과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다.
특히 학업탄력성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 긍정심리자본, 인성, 대인관계, 대학생활만족도 순이었고, 총 설명력은 72%였다. 간호대학생의 학업탄력성 향상에 가장 영향력 있는 변수는 긍정심리자본으로 56% 설명력을 나타냈다. 본 연구를 통하여 간호대학생의 긍정심리자본, 인성, 대인관계, 대학생활만족가 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인 할 수 있었다.
대상자의 인성은 긍정심리자본(r=.62, p<.001), 학업탄력성(r=.68, p<.001), 긍정심리자본은 학업탄력성(r=.79, p<.001)과 유의한 양(+)의 상관관계 를 나타냈다(Table 4).
88점으로 중간 이상이었고, 일반적 특성에 따른 학업탄력성 정도는 대학생활만족도, 전공만족도, 대인관계, 지원동기, 성격에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 학업탄력성은 인성, 긍정심리자본과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 특히 학업탄력성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 긍정심리자본, 인성, 대인관계, 대학생활만족도 순이었고, 총 설명력은 72%였다.
간호대학생의 학업탄력성 향상에 가장 영향력 있는 변수는 긍정심리자본으로 56% 설명력을 나타냈다. 본 연구를 통하여 간호대학생의 긍정심리자본, 인성, 대인관계, 대학생활만족가 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인 할 수 있었다.

후속연구

첫 째, 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 긍정심리자본이 확인되었으므로 간호대학생의 긍정심리자본을 높일 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발과 그 효과를 검증하는 후속연구를 제언한다. 둘째, 후속 연구로 학업탄력성의 영향 요인과 관련하여 대상자를 달리한 반복연구를 수행할 것을 제언한다.
본 연구는 J도 소재 간호대학 간호학과 1-2학년을 대상으로 한 조사연구로서, 결과를 간호학과 전체 학생들에게 일반화하는데 제한점이 있어 다양한 지역의 간호대학생을 대상으로 한 반복연구가 필요하다.
본 연구결과에 따라 다음과 같이 제언한다. 첫 째, 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 긍정심리자본이 확인되었으므로 간호대학생의 긍정심리자본을 높일 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발과 그 효과를 검증하는 후속연구를 제언한다. 둘째, 후속 연구로 학업탄력성의 영향 요인과 관련하여 대상자를 달리한 반복연구를 수행할 것을 제언한다.
