본 연구는 코로나-19 범유행시 임산부의 생생한 경험을 현상학적 접근을 통해 탐구함으로 임산부의 스트레스 경험을 이해하기 위한 질적연구이다. 연구대상자는 COVID-19 범유행 기간 동안 임신한 임산부 12명을 대상자로 선정하여 심층면담하였다. 참여자의 인터뷰는 2022년 6월부터 10월까지 진행하였으며, Colaizzi (1978) 분석 방법을 사용하여 Taguette 프로그램을 통해 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석된 결과로는 경험의 범주가 4개의 주제와 12개의 하위 주제로 도출되었다. 주요 주제는 부정확한 정보로 인한 혼란, 무너진 산전관리, 통제된 삶으로 인한 스트레스, 적응해가는 몸과 마음으로 나타났다. 임산부의 건강을 위한 사회적 지원과 안정적인 의료시스템 구축이 전반적으로 이루어져야 할 필요가 있음이 확인되었다. 이를 뒷받침하기 위해서는 후속 연구들이 더 필요하다.
