The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of horticultural therapy for Deviation Youth in a Middle School Course, the effect that horticultural therapy has on adolescence development through horticultural activity program. Horticultural therapy program had been carried at S Middle School located in Seoul for six months and 16 times once two weeks for one and half an hours. To investigate differences of the ego identity self-esteem and social support had been assessed two times before and after horticultural therapy program. In self-esteem test and social support test, there aren't significant difference . In ego identity test, there are some significant differences in the 2 fields of the ego identity which is consisted of 6 fields(p <.05). this study (the relation between the horticultural therapy and ) EI (ego identity), SE(self-esteem), SS(social support) is supposed to continue as it's presumed that the change in development will appear after some period.
