Ⅳ. 연구개발결과
총 4년간의 연구를 통하여, 다양한 양돈용 원료사료내 가소화에너지 및 대사에너지 함량, 아미노산의 표준회장소화율 및 인의 표준전장소화율을 측정하였다. 측정된 원료사료내 화학적 조성 및 영양소 이용률을 바탕으로 통합적 소화율을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 개발하였다.
또한 양돈용 배합사료내 대사에너지, 표준회장가소화 아미노산 및 표준전장가소화 인의 가산성을 측정하였고, 분으로의 질소 및 인 배출량 비교 평가를 수행하였으며, 정밀한 영양소 평가 및 사료배합을 통한 환경오염 저감 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

Ⅳ. 연구개발결과
총 4년간의 연구를 통하여, 다양한 양돈용 원료사료내 가소화에너지 및 대사에너지 함량, 아미노산의 표준회장소화율 및 인의 표준전장소화율을 측정하였다. 측정된 원료사료내 화학적 조성 및 영양소 이용률을 바탕으로 통합적 소화율을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 개발하였다.
또한 양돈용 배합사료내 대사에너지, 표준회장가소화 아미노산 및 표준전장가소화 인의 가산성을 측정하였고, 분으로의 질소 및 인 배출량 비교 평가를 수행하였으며, 정밀한 영양소 평가 및 사료배합을 통한 환경오염 저감 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.
조사료 가치 평가 연구에서는 국내외 조사료 가치 평가법 조사 및 장단점 비교를 통하여 적정 조사료 평가법을 제시하였다. 또한 각 원료사료에 대한 물리성을 고려한 peNDF 지수를 제시하였으며, 현장에서 신속한 측정을 위한 NIR의 이용성을 검증하는 연구를 진행하였다.
또한 국내 실정에 맞는 TMR 배합 프로그램의 제작, 검증 및 보급을 위하여 TMR사료의 물리성이 한우, 젖소 및 흑염소의 체내 이용성, 채식 및 반추행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다.
NIR을 활용한 가축사료의 영양 평가를 신속하게 측정하기 위한 기법 개발을 위해 단미사료의 일반성분, 소화율 및 에너지가를 분석하였으며 국내 축우용 TMR 영양성분을 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 가축사료 영양가 분석 시스템 상용화 제품을 제작하였으며, 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 분석 소프트웨어를 개발하였다.

It is important to precisely evaluate the nutritional values for feed ingredients in order to reduce the pollutants originated from animals because most pollutants come from feces and urine in livestock production. In addition, due to the increase of the cost of feed ingredients, the cost of livestock production and the proportion of feed cost in livestock production have been increased; therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the nutritional values for feed ingredients precisely. Moreover, because a precise evaluation of nutritional values for feed ingredients is expensive and time consuming, a rapid procedure to evaluate the nutritional values for feed ingredients is needed. However, research conducted to determine the bioavailability of energy, amino acids (AA), and phosphorus (P) in feed ingredients for pigs is scares in Korea. In ruminant, research for the nutritional values for forages is so scares that foreign sources have been used in Korean ruminant industry which are not appropriate in the national circumstance. Besides, research for developing miniaturized Near-infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS), which can rapidly evaluate the nutritional values for feed ingredients in research facilities and fields, is needed.
Through the 4 years of research period, the digestible energy (DE) and metabolizable energy (ME), standardiezed ileal digestibility (SID) of AA, and standardized total tract digestibility (STTD) of P in various feed ingredients for pigs were evaluated. Models to predict the digestibility of nutrients in feed ingredients for pigs were developed based on the nutrient compositions and availability. In addition, the additivity of ME, SID of AA, and STTD of P was determined and comparison of excreted nitrogen and P among diets based on different AA and P basis was conducted, all of which indicated that precise evaluation of the nutritional values for feed ingredients can reduce the pollutants originated from animals. In research for the nutritional values for forages, appropriate methods to evaluate the nutritional values for forages were suggested by investigating methods applied in Korea and foreign countries and comparing pros and cons of these methods. Values for peNDF with the consideration of physical characteristics of each ingredient were also suggested and the application of NIRS for immediate estimation of the nutritional values for forages was studied. In order to design, evaluate, and supply the total mixed ration (TMR) program appropriate for Korean ruminant industry, the effects of physical characteristics of TMR on bioavailability, feed intake, and rumination of Hanwoo, dairy cattle, and black goat were determined. Nutrient composition, digestibility and energy values for feed ingredients and the nutritional values for TMR were determined to develop the rapid evaluation program of NIRS. Based on these studies, the commercial product which can evaluate the nutritional values for feed ingredients was developed and the software for the commercial product was also developed.
In addition, models for estimating energy, AA, and P concentrations and bioavailability in feed ingredients for pigs can be used in diet formulation, which can reduce the cost of pig production. The nutritional values for feed ingredients observed in the present research can be not only used in diet formulation for livestock but also applied in development of guidelines for reducing pollutants. Research for the evaluation of the nutritional values for forages can be applied in models for estimating the nutritional values for forages and programs for the TMR formulation, which can reduce the cost of cattle and dairy production. Moreover, by developing nation’s own technology for NIRS, it is expected that NIRS techniques can be applied in other research area and that the application of NIRS to the agricultural and environmental estimates can be expanded. Further research with investigating various feed ingredients used in swine diets is needed to enhance the precision and accuracy of models developed in the present research.
Furthermore, factors affecting bioavailability of nutrients in feed ingredients such as body weight, gender, breed, or climate is also required to be studied and research for evaluating the effects of reducing pollutants by nutritional approaches is needed to investigate the optimal minimization of pollutants originated from livestock industry. The current NIRS system is also needed to be improved and consequently strengthen the competitiveness by applying additional database and studying various models for estimating the nutritional values for feed ingredients.
