- The unheated plastic house has produced horticultural products that have high incomes and require a lot of labor. This test was carried out to develop the composition by introducing farm crops that could be put in less labor and earn income in these unheated plastic houses. The cropping systems were reviewed for the possibility of three types: Ⅰ sweet potato+sweet potato)+spinach, Ⅱ sweet potato+green corn+spinach, Ⅲ sweet potato+soybean+spinach. They also selected varieties of sweet potatoes that adapt to the unheated plastic house.

< Jungbu region(Suweon) >
- early maturing cultivar Jounbyeo is suitable for rice based double cropping
< Yeongnam region(Miryang) >
- medium maturing cultivar (Haiami and Samdeog) would be applicable to a winter barley/wheat, garlic/onion-summer rice double cropping
- mid-late cultivar (Saeilmi, Saenuri and Hyunpoom) would be suitable for a spring potato/waxy corn-summer rice double croppinge preferable for a triple cropping because of the short growth period of rice
- early maturing cultivar (Unkwang, Jokwang and Haedamssal) would be preferable for a triple cropping because of the short growth period of rice

- June 25 transplanting : Unkwang,, Odae, Seolaemi(early maturing cultivar), Haepoom, Samdeog(medium maturing cultivar), Sindongjin, Saeilmi(mid-late cultivar)

- Spinach showed higher yield as 1,674~1,727kg/10a in the spring potato-rice/sesame/perilla-spinach cropping system.

The water melon-perilla-lettuce croppingsystem shower 6,666 thousand korean won income which was 40% higher than water melon-rice-lettuce.

- The meteorological change in paddy field green house showed that the average temperature in the green house was 11.6℃ which was 5.2℃ higher in outside. Green house showed relatively favor condition for crop cultivation due to the shorter low temperature period.
- The optimum tree crops cropping system in green house was spinach-sticky corn-autumn potato which showed relatively higher yield and income. In the comparison of income, spinach-sticky corn-autumn potato cropping system showed 5,537,000 korean won/ 10a which was 20% higher than other cropping systems
- In three cropping systems, sweet potato variety ‘Pungwonmi’, which was transplanted in March, had the highest of marketable yield. It is believed that efforts can be reduced by using a cultivator attached harvester for harvesting sweet potatoes. Among the second cultivated crop, sweet potatoes were a good variety of ‘Pungwonmi’. Corn is had the highest marketable yield, and thus will have an advantage in terms of income. The third cultivated spinach is thought to be superior in yield in the form of sowing after the corn harvest, so the sooner it is sown, the better it will. The income of each crop was the highest with one early crop of sweet potatoes, and among the second crops, corn had a high income and thirdspinach had a good corn succeeding cropping. Among cropping systems, income of ‘sweet potato+green corn+spinach’ were higher.
- This study was carried out to provide basic data for spreading cropping system by using non-heated greenhouse, growing diverse horticultural cash crops following rice cultivation in under paddy field condition. Three horticultural crops were introduced such as pea, kohlrabi, and flax prior to rice in this study. Characteristics of rice grown in non-heated greenhouse following the three horticulturalcrops, pea, kohlrabi, and flax were shown the followed, heading datewas commonly on 9th August, culm length was decreased graduallyat pea, kohlrabi and flax, in turn. Panicle length and number ofpanicle per hill did not any difference.
- Number of spikelets per panicle was only increased at cropping system combined with kohlrabi crop. Rice yield and productivity showed that rice cropping system combined with flax showed highest rice yield and it showed also 16% increased compared to thepea cropping system, however income index was reversely at onlyrice and pea cropping system resulted from higher income productivity of pea. Consequently, it is recommended that optimal cropping system combined with rice was pea cultivation in Gyeongsangbuk-do provicne.
- The cropping system of cabbage-perilla : the average amount of cabbage for three years was 3,601 heads/10a and 6,556 kg/10a. The average amount of perilla was 169kg/10a. The economic analysis result showed that the income exponent was 3.9 times higher and the income rate was 8.5 percent higher than the single rice crop.The cropping system of potato-soybean : the average amount of potatoes for three years was 3,212 kg/10a and the heavy potato was 2,959kg/10a. The average amount of soybeans was 274kg/10a. The economic analysis results showed that the income exponent was 4times higher and the income rate was 10.8 percent higher than the single rice crop.
- The cropping system of corn-cabbage : the average corn crop over three years was 6,244/10a. the average amount of cabbage for three yearse was 3,482 heads/10a and 6,435 kg/10a. According to the economic analysis, the income exponent was 3.8 times higher and the income rate was 4.5 percent higher than the single rice crop.
- The cropping system of buckwheat-Corn : the average corn crop over two years was 164 kg/10a. the average number of corn was 4,166/10a. According to the economic analysis, the income exponent was 2.5 times higher and the income rate was 11.4 percent higher than the single rice crop.
- The cropping system of white radish crop-buckwheat : the average white radish crop over two years was 7,409kg/10a. theaverage amount of buckwheat was 138kg/10a. According to theeconomic analysis, the income exponent was 3.1 times higher and the income rate was 3.4 percent higher than the single rice crop.
