A plot plants life into many novels, and it's an important literary device which helps form unified-meaning context. In addition, through the expressing education of novels, depending on each school's 'literature' curriculum and the learning stage of development, it progressively refines the learner's literary experience and may improve expressive abilities. As the 7th Korean language and creative education was introduced, not only were the accepting aspects of novels, but also the productive aspects, which are referred to as expressing activities, have become more important. Since then, the 2011 amendment 'literature' curriculum has captured the basic philosophy and system of the 7th curriculum, and for the needs and supply of the changing times and training, it has become one of the selected subjects restructuring high school Korean language and training courses. In accordance with the course content tailored to the goals of 'creative humanity education', focusing on the functions and role of acceptance and production activities, a variety of learning activities that require active participation and creative thinking by the learners was suggested for 'literature' curriculum. However, the reality of school education is that there are lack of textbook reviews and specific training plans for plots, and the plot is being taught as if it is a provision and a secondary element. In this paper, we examined the problem by determining the pattern of plot education inside the high school's 『literary』 textbooks, whilst studying the novel's teaching and learning methods in consideration of expressing education procedure and learner hydro-logical response. A plot is the forming principle of a novel and an aesthetic structure, thus, education is essential in a novel. 'Plot making (plotting)' is a 'production' activity that the learner must experience so that the learner can arrange and learn the novel's internal structure principle, as well as the learner's literary-expressing activity for discovering the dynamic aspects of the narrative and reconstructing or creating the plot voluntarily. In this paper, the information system of this plot education leads to the 'real' novel text, and a ‘knowledge-expression-attitude' was set up by arranging the details into sub categories. In the 'knowledge' step, a novel work analyzed by utilizing the four mythos plot type of Northrop Frye was presented as a means of learning materials for the learner's full-scale expressing activity. Northrop Frye's 4 mythos is life's cyclical symbols and movements shaped into the aspects of literary plot, and are projected and developed with the structure of life and nature as a comedy and tragedy, rising structure and falling structure in literature. Northrop Frye's plot type is a story written before genre existed, divided with 4 mythos that consist of categories of literature, such as romance, comedy, tragedy, irony and satire. The novel is the Mythos of spring equivalent to the comedic plot in which the main character increasingly escapes the oppressive and colonial society surrounding himself and starts to crave his original self. is a summer mythos that applies to plot of romance, and the story is about a wandering person who lives a fateful life in a background of the ocean of which nostalgia unfolds. , the fall of Mythos, has a plot of tragedy. The main character's surreal power is optically saturated in an artistic way as it acts as a multiple, then eventually gets punished in the end. is a winter Mythos and applies to the irony plot. The main character repetitively struggles through frustration and tragedy in an undesirable situation and circumstance, but decides to approach those problems in a humorous manner rather than trying to solve it aggressively. Through the 'expression' set, the learner actively and creatively participates the former principle of the learning process, and along with motivation, they gain confidence and learning excitement. As for the 'attitude' step, while the plot's creation and critique becomes more regulated, the overall awareness of one's self and the world arises, as well as placing a significant contribution to the community's literature cultural development. Through the plot education, the learner can accommodate a variety of hydro-logical responses, let alone growing a real and effective expression skill. To achieve this, it is essential to understand the novel's genre trait and utilize the plot, which is known as the structural characteristic and principle of the literature shaping, and also to participate in the fictional world subjectively. Understanding the novel's plot has a purpose of identifying the thematic significance of the work and the creative intentions of the artist, therefore using the plot will ultimately lead to an improved expressive skill and creative literature in everyday life.
