The purpose of this study is to analyze difference of perception of young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables and to investigate teacher’s difficulties due to young children’s problem behaviors in field, provide basis of the problem behaviors in edu-care field. For the above purpose, the following research questions have been set up. Research question 1. What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables? 1-1 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s age? 1-2 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s academic background ? 1-3 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s career? 1-4 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on the type of Institution? 1-5 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on responsible age of teacher's class? 1-6 What are differences in awareness in young children’s problem behaviors depending on having experience of problem behavior guidance training or not? Research question 2. What are differences in status of young children’s problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables? 2-1 What are differences in occurrence status of severe problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables. 2-2 What are differences in occurrence status of frequently occurred problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables. 2-3 What are differences in occurrence status of problem behaviors hard to instruct depending on teacher’s background variables. 2-4 What are differences in demanding status of cooperating with parents of problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables? 2-5 What are differences in cooperation target status for solving problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables. 2-6 What are differences in difficulties status for instructing problem behaviors depending on teacher’s background variables. In this study, to investigate edu-care teachers' awareness and status in young children’s problem behaviors, exploit and use questionnaires. Survey were conducted for 6 weeks(Mar.2~Apr.4, 2016). The questionnaires were distributed by e-Mail and post for collecting data. It showed 84% of collecting rate that 250 questionnaires were distributed and 210 of them returned. Finally 186 questionnaires were used for research excepted 24 questionnaires including insincere or missing responses In returned questionnaires. ‘Types of Children problem behavior(Essa, 1998)’ were used to measure edu-care teachers' awareness and status in young children’s problem behaviors. The collected data were analy zed through SPSS22.0 program and conducted the Independent-Samples t-test to see if it makes a meaningful difference between variables, One-Way ANOVA to inquire distinction between groups, Scheffe posteriori test. Futhermore extracted the frequency and the percentage according to each questionnaire, conducted -test depending on teacher's background variables to examine the difference among the groups. The result from this study are as follows. First, it turned out that edu-care teacher's awareness in young children’s problem behaviors was generally low. The type of young children’s problem behaviors awareness by teachers ordered aggressive and antisocial behavior, disruptive behavior, behavior related to eating habits, behavior related to activity participation, emotional·dependent behavior. It discovered that there were no statistical differences in the problem behaviors awareness depending on edu-care teacher's age, academic achievement, career, and there were meaningful differences depending on type of institution, age of teacher's class, experience of problem behavior guidance training. Depending on type of institution, teachers of national child care center were recognized that disruptive behavior is more severe problem behavior compared with civilian Child care Center and national child care center. Depending on age of teacher’s class, teachers of 4years class perceived disruptive behavior as more serious problem behavior than teachers of 3years class, teachers of 5years class perceived emotional·dependent behavior as more serious problem behavior than teachers of 4years and 3years class. Depending on experience of problem behavior training, teachers having experience of problem behavior training were cognizant of behavior related to activity participation as more serious problem behavior than no training experience teachers. In destructive behavior and emotional·dependent behavior, teachers of civilian Child care Center and national child care center responded that destructive behavior is a more serious problem behavior. Depending of age of teacher’s class, 4years class teachers recognized disruptive behavior more seriously compared with 3year class teacher. Second, result discovered that Problem behavior occurring in edu-care field ordered aggressive·antisocial behavior, destructive behavior, disruptive behavior, emotional·dependent behavior, behavior related to eating habits, behavior related to activity participation. There were meaningful differences depending on teacher's career and type of institution, entire teachers recognized the aggressive-antisocial behavior as The most serious problem behavior without reference to career. On the other hand, there were no meaningful difference depending on age of teachers, the highest level of education, age of teacher's class, experience of problem behavior guidance training. The most frequent problem behavior occurred in edu-care field was aggressive·antisocial behavior. the other problem behavior occurred following order : emotional·dependent behavior, disruptive behavior, destructive behavior, behavior related to eating habits, behavior related to activity participation. Entire 'career' and 'age of class' group of teachers responded that aggressive·antisocial behavior is the most frequent problem behavior. Aggressive·antisocial behavior was turned out as the problem behavior hardest to guide, and the others were aligned in descending order as follows : emotional·dependent behavior, disruptive behavior, destructive behavior, behavior related to eating habits, behavior related to activity participation. According to the results, aggressive·antisocial behavior was the most needed problem behavior Cooperation between parent and teachers and the others were aligned in descending order as follows : emotional·dependent behavior, disruptive behavior, destructive behavior, behavior related to eating habits, behavior related to activity participation. Appear meaningful difference depending on age of teacher's class and experience of problem behavior guidance training. Entire teachers respond that cooperation with parent much needed in edu-care field regardless age of teacher's class or experience of problem behavior guidance training. Targets request for cooperation when a problem arise were aligned in descending order as follows : colleague teachers, Director, Self-Problem Solving, Counseling agency. There were meaningful differences among teacher's age, type of institution, whether having experience of problem behavior guidance training or not. When examine the distinction according to teacher's age, age under 25years, 26~30years, 31~35years teachers ask for help from colleague teacher when a problem arise, age over 36years teachers ask for help from director when a problem arise. when examining the distinction according to teacher's career, commonly request for help from colleague teacher when a problem behavior occurs. In terms of type of institution, teachers of employer-supported daycare centers and national child care center ask for help to colleague, teachers of civilian Child care Centers ask for help from director Depending on whether or not having experience of problem behavior guidance training, entire teachers ask for help for colleague regardless of experience of problem behavior guidance training Difficult parts guiding problem behavior were aligned in descending order as follows : Lack of problem behavioral teaching Methods, Lack of problem behavioral Expertise, Lack of Practical skills of problem behavior, problem behavioral Diagnosis and evaluation, Lack of Counseling skills of child and parents having problem behavior. There were meaningful differences in age of teacher's class. 3years class and 5years class teachers responded that Lack of problem behavioral teaching Methods is the most difficult part, 4years class teachers responded that Lack of problem behavioral Expertise is the most difficult part. There were no differences depending on teacher's age, career, type of institution, experience of problem behavior guidance training. As a result, there were meaningful difference in edu-care teachers' awareness and status in young children’s problem behaviors depending on edu-care teacher’s background variables. Therefore, it raise the necessity for reflecting result of this study to construct guideline of problem behavioral instruct considering the teacher’s background variables andct training program for guidance of problem behavior.
