The objective of creative intelligence education is to nurture creative democratic citizen by educating creative expression ability, cooperative problem solving ability and cultural knowledge. To develope these abilities, this study planned a teaching by creative activities which students can invent their own class rather than a typical concept-focused teaching.
For the study, the classroom was arranged in ‘ㄷ’ shape to create smooth communication between teacher and students, and reenacted Pansori madang using enough space at the center of class room. The class had no text book, but let students write down individual goal, class contents and their feelings to make them fully concentrated on the process. After the group presentation, the class shared pros and cons of each other to expand their critical thinking. I suggest a four-session teaching guide realizing class culture for 'both teachers and students to learn’, the goal of Innovation School.
The teaching guide of study is composed of total 4 sessions; appreciation, expression, habituation of current curriculum and creative intelligence. On first session, to help overall understanding about Pansori, the conceptual learning is planned through appreciation of musical piece 《Jajin Sarangga》 and teacher’s demonstration. From the next session, activities are added to expand the concept of Pansori. On second session, students directly sang 《Hwachojang Taryeong》 by reading the melody score, and compared the dramatic music of Korea and Western culture. On third session, the activity changing components of Pansori along with conceptual learning of creative Pansori is programmed. On fourth session, students chose one of the five Pansori piece they learned to revise the original piece and make preview of Pansori to improve their cultural knowledge.
This study aims for real learning. Based on this study, it is expected to lead the various studies of music education that creates class innovation culture to feel the joy of learning.

혁신학교란 각 지역 교육청에서 추진하는 학교 개혁 정책으로 단위 학교의 특성을 살려 자발적인 학교문화를 운영하도록 지정한 자율학교를 말한다. 본 연구는 혁신학교의 다양한 영역 중 수업영역을 중심으로 중학교 1학년 대상 창작 판소리를 활용한 수업 지도안을 다룬다. 이를 위해 혁신학교에 대한 철학적 배경과 특징을 살펴보며 우리나라 혁신학교 음악교육의 방향을 모색하였다. 혁신학교는 자체 교육과정 및 교과서와 같은 지침서가 내려지는 것이 아닌 각 학교의 환경을 고려한 교사의 재량을 통해 수업의 재구성을 이루도록 한다. 이에 혁신학교 음악교사에게 도움을 주기 위해 현행 교육과정 및 교과서, 교사용 지도서를 검토하여 중학교 1학년 수준을 고려한 창작 판소리 요소를 제공하였다.
혁신학교가 추구하는 ‘창의 지성 교육’의 목적은 창의적 표현 능력, 협력적 해결 능력, 문화적 소양 능력을 계발하여 창의적인 민주시민을 육성하는 것이다. 이를 구현하기 위해 단순한 강의식 수업에서 벗어나 학생들의 다양한 활동을 통해 스스로 음악 지식을 구성하는 수업을 계획하였다.
수업은 ‘ㄷ자 배열’을 적용하여 교사와 학생 간 원활한 소통을 이룰 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 교실 중앙의 충분한 공간을 활용하여 판소리 마당을 재현할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 교과서 없이 배움 활동지를 통해 자신만의 목표와 수업 내용 및 느낀 점을 작성하며 배움의 과정에 충실하도록 하였다. 모둠별 발표 이후에는 서로의 장 · 단점을 나누는 시간을 마련하여 비판적인 사고를 확장할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 수업을 통해 ‘교사와 학생 모두에게 배움이 일어나는 수업 문화 만들기’라는 혁신학교 목표를 이루기 위한 지도안을 마련하였다.
지도안은 창의 지성 요소와 현행 교육과정의 표현 · 감상 · 생활화 영역을 포괄하며 총 4차시로 구성하였다. 1차시에는 판소리에 관한 전반적인 이해를 돕기 위해 제재곡 《자진 사랑가》의 감상과 교사 시범을 통한 개념 학습을 이룬다. 이후의 차시부터 다양한 표현 활동을 통해 판소리 개념을 확장시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 2차시에는 가락선 악보를 보며 《화초장 타령》 대목을 직접 불러보는 활동으로 국악과, 서양의 극음악을 비교해보는 시간을 마련하였다. 3차시에는 창작 판소리 개념 학습과 함께 판소리 구성요소를 변형하는 활동을 계획하였다. 마지막으로, 4차시는 학생들이 지금까지 배운 판소리 다섯 마당 중 하나를 선택하여 ‘판소리 예고편’을 만드는 과정을 통해 문화적 소양 능력을 함양하도록 하였다.
본 연구는 참된 배움을 지향하고 있다. 이를 계기로 배움의 즐거움을 느끼는 수업 문화를 만들기 위한 음악교과 내의 다양한 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다.
