This research paper reviews the effects of parent education programs for fosterer with children who have prelinguistic communication disorder. The subjects of the research are five children between the ages of 1 and 14, and who show the development at prelinguistic level, belonging to an expressive language of less than 12 months as a result of the Sequenced Language Scale for Infant (SELSI). For the above subjects, the parent education program was conducted through play situation evaluation and in-depth interviews were conducted. The research questions are, are there any changes in the play situation between the child and the fosterers after the implementation of the parent education program, and what are the subjective opinions of the fosterers about the parent education program and its effects. To measure the effect of the parent education program it was implemented for 50 minutes in one session, twice a week, for a total of 9 times. At pre-post play situation evaluation parent and child executed free play for 50 minutes and compared-analyzed the frequency by number of times through communication logs. As a result of this research, five themes were derived: ‘communication situation with children and families', 'difficulties felt during program progress', 'what was gained through the program', 'change of children through program' and 'change of family through program'. First, child with prelinguistic communication disorder and their family have difficulty communicating. Parents have many effects on children’s language and communication. If you can acquire linguistic skills through interaction with a child, but do not understand the child's communication function, you will be deprived of the opportunity to express by limiting the child's communication. However by understanding the communication expressions that child represents, they can improve their understanding of children and become a family member that they make together. Second, parent education program with children who have prelinguistic communication disorder should be implemented for family members as well as main fosterer. Children spend the most time with their families, and home is the most natural environment, so they can acquire communication skill in various situations and improve the skill. Also, change of the family environment influence direct and diverse impacts to children. Through the education execute to family member, children can be provided proper linguistic stimulus and environment. The method of presenting and educating communication technology methods conducted in the preceding study was effective in this study and showed high parental satisfaction. But unlike previous research, there were lots of suggestions that the education was needed not only for parenting but also for all family members. Based on the findings above, the implications of this study are as follows. Firstly, children who have prelinguistic communication disorder and their family had difficulties with communication. Parent have many effects on their children’s language and communication. When language skills can be acquired through interaction with children, but the child's communication function is not understood, the child's communication is restricted and opportunities for expression are deprived. By understanding the communication expression that children represent, they can improve the understanding of children and be a family that they make together. Secondly, the parent education should be conducted for main fosterer and also family member. Children spend most of their time with families and home is the most natural environment to acquire and improve communication skill in various situation. The change of the family environment also has direct and diverse effects on children. The education that executes to family member can provide proper linguistic stimulation and environment. Therefore, the parent education program should be carried out for families with children who have prelinguistic communication disorder, and need to increase the number of subjects and listen to more diverse candidates. This research is meaningful in recognizing the importance and necessity of education participation of family members along with the need for education for fosterer in improving children's communication skills. prelinguistic communication disorder,
