The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of self-compassion and counselor activity self-efficacy in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and couselor’s burnout. For this study, questionnaires measuring the intolerance of uncertainty, self-compassion, counselor activity self-efficacy, couselor’s burnout were completed by 200 counselors who had more than 1 years of couseling experience. For the collected data, the study performed descriptive satistics and correlation analysis using SPSS 28.0 and Process macro 4.0 programs to examine the multiple mediating effects. The results of this study were as follows. First, Intolerance of uncertainty was correlated positively with couselor’s burnout while correlated negatively with self-compassion and counselor activity self-efficacy. self-compassion was correlated positively with counselor activity self-efficacy while correlated negatively with counselor’s burn out. counselor activity self-efficacy was correlated positively with counselor’s burn out. Second, the mediation effect of self-compassion between intolerance of uncertainty and counselor’s burn out as well as counselor activity self-efficacy between intolerance of uncertainty and counselor’s burn out was significant. Third, in the effect of intolerance of uncertainty and counselor’s burn out, it was possible to confirm the sequential mediating effects of self-compassion and counselor activity self-efficacy. Finally, limitations to the current study and recommendations for future research were discussed.Key words: Intolerance of uncertainty, Self-compassion, Counselor activity self-efficacy, Counselor’s burn out
