본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 한국 생활문화 경험에서 나타나는 특성을 살펴보고 적응과정에서의 의미를 근거이론 방법론을 적용하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 결혼이주여성의 한국 생활문화 적응과정에서 문화차이와 서로 다른 생활방식에서 겪는 어려움을 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 한국 생활 적응과정을 지원하는 방안을 제시해 보았다. 본 연구는 수도권에 거주하고 있으며 기본적인 의사소통이 가능한 결혼이주여성 8명을 대상으로 진행되었다. 결혼이주여성의 생활문화 적응에 관한 사례를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결혼이주여성들의 의생활 문화는 모국에서의 거주지역과 기후 차이로 인한 착의습관, 착의량은 한국에서의 일상생활 적응에 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 결혼이주여성들의 식생활 문화는 모국의 지역적 특성에 따라 발달한 음식종류가 달랐다. 음식조리법, 음식보관법에 따라 음식특성과 식습관에서 오는 식생활 차이는 한국에서의 일상생활 적응에 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 결혼이주여성들의 주생활 문화는 한국에서 주로 생활하는 공간인 집이 주는 의미로 심리·정서적인 요인에 따라 달랐다. 거주 공간 구조의 차이에 따라 외부 환경적인 요인의 변화는 한국에서의 일상생활 적응에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 결혼이주여성들의 결혼생활 문화는 새로운 가족문화에 적응해 가는 과정에서 관계를 맺고 일상적으로 경험하는 모든 영역에서 어려움을 경험한다. 특히 결혼하게 된 동기가 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 결혼이주여성들의 여가생활 문화는 결혼하기 전·후 여가생활이 갖는 의미에 차이가 있었다. 즉, 여가생활은 결혼을 통해 새로운 역할들이 부여됨에 따라 휴식에서 일로서의 의미로 변화하였다. 이는 한국 생활의 만족감에 영향을 주는 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 여섯째, 결혼이주여성들의 명절생활 문화는 모국과 한국에서의 명절 모습에 차이를 나타냈다. 특히 한국에서의 며느리, 아내, 엄마로서의 역할을 수행함에 있어 가치관 차이는 새로운 가족문화 적응과정에 영향을 주는 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 한 제언은 다음과 같다. 본 연구에서는 결혼이주여성들이 국적, 거주지역 특성, 결혼하게 된 동기 등에 따라 내적, 외적 환경적 요인들에 의해 생활문화 적응과정에 차이가 나타났다. 국적별 적응과정에서의 경험적 특성 파악에 대한 필요성, 의·식·주생활, 결혼생활, 여가생활, 명절생활의 모든 생활문화영역에서 한국 생활문화 적응과정에 복합적인 영향을 준다. 따라서 영역별 맞춤형 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 언급하였다. 이를 통해 결혼이주여성들의 한국 생활문화 적응과정을 지원하여 장기적 정착을 위한 새로운 ...

This study found out the traits of married female migrants in experiencing Korean living culture and analyzed the meaning of adjustment process by applying grounded theory methodology. Through this analysis, this study looked into their cultural difference in the process of adapting to Korean living culture, their difficulties in life style different from each other. Based on this, study suggested measures for adjustment. This study was aimed at 8 married female migrants who can perform basic communication and analyzed cases of their adjustment to living culture. Results of this study are as follows. First, in clothing culture of married female migrants, their clothing habit and quantity of clothing developed by residential area and climate of motherland affected adjustment to daily life in Korea. Second, in dietary life culture, kinds of developed food varied according to each nation’s regional characteristic. With this, difference in trait of food and dietary life formed by various recipes and ways of storing food was also a factor that impacts on adaptation to living life. Third, in residential culture, meaning of house where they mainly live was different depending on psychological, mental factors. And change in external environmental factor that comes from difference in structure of living space influenced on adaptation. Fourth, in marriage culture of married female migrants, they had difficulties in forming relations at process of adapting to new family culture and to all situations they experience. Especially motivation for marriage impacted the most. Fifth, their leisure culture showed difference between before and after marriage. That is, meaning of leisure time turned rest into work, assigning new role by marriage. And that was turned out to be a factor affecting satisfaction to Korean life. Sixth, for married female migrants, holiday culture in Korean family was different from their motherlands. Especially in conducting role as a daughter in law, wife, and mother, difference in value was also a factor that influenced on adjustment to new family culture. Based on these results, suggestion is the following. In this study, according to nationality, residential characteristics and motivation of marriage, married female migrants exhibited distinction in process of getting used to living culture by both internal and external factors. Also, this study proposed necessity of identifying experimental traits per nationality in adaptation. Every part of living culture like clothing, eating, residential life, marriage life, leisure life, and holiday life of family have compositive impact on adaptive process. So this study remarked requirement of developing customized programs for each domain Through this, new social integrative direction for long-term settlement can be found by supporting their process of adjustment to living life. key word : living life, cultural adjustment, married female migrants
