시스템분석가에게 요구되는 기능과 기술이 무엇인지를 밝히는 것은 기업들은 물론이고 경영교육기관들에게 매우 중요한 문제이다. 인터넷과 같은 엄청난 기술의 발전은 정보기술 연구자들로 하여금 어떤 기술이 쇠퇴하고 어떤 기술이 새롭게 등장하는지를 밝히도록 요구하고 있다. 이 논문은 새로이 대기업에 취업을 하여 일하고 있는 시스템분석가로 부터 온 편지의 내용과 교육기관에서 사용하고 있는 교재의 내용을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 이것은 정보기술종사자들의 편지가 또 하나의 훌륭한 연구 및 교육재료임을 밝히고자 함이다.
