학습컨설팅이란? 대학생들의 학습부진 현상을 해소하고 학습역량을 증진시키고자 국내 대학에서는 학습컨설팅이라는 이름의 교과외 지원 체제가 생겨나고 있다. 학습컨설팅은 학습과 행동전문가인 컨설턴트가 학생의 학습과 적응을 향상시키기 위해 학생의 문제를 의뢰해 온 교수(교사) 또는 개별학생과 상호작용하여 심리, 행동, 학습관련 서비스를 제공하면서 함께 일하는 과정이다(김정섭, 2009; Dougherty, 2000; Kampwirth, 2006). 각 대학은 개별 컨설팅과 집단 컨설팅의 형태로 교수 학습지원센터 등의 학습 전문 기관을 통해 학습 컨설팅을 지원하고 있다.
