중환자실 간호사의 조직몰입을 높이기 위하여 직무스트레스의 발생기전과 적절한 해결방안의 모색이 요구되는 이유는 무엇인가? | 중환자실의 경우 간호사는 중증의 환자에게 사용하는 수많은 의료기기나 장비에 대한 관리, 질환에 대한 전문적인 지식과 기술, 신속하고 정확한 임상적 판단능력을 필요로 하여 항상 긴장된 상태에서 업무를 수행하므로 직무스트레스의 정도가 높다. 이러한 직무스트레스는 조직에 대한 몰입을 약화시키고, 직무만족도를 떨어뜨리며 이직에 대한 의도를 높이게 된다. 이에 많은 조직에서 직무스트레스 관리를 통해 직원들의 조직몰입을 증진시키고 이직, 스트레스로 인한 의료비용과 보상비용을 절감하고자 노력하는 것으로 보고되고 있다 (Coomber & Barriball, 2007).
