수술실 간호사와 치과위생사의 방사선 안전관리 지식과 태도 및 행위에 대한 비교조사

기존 영상의학과 의사, 방사선사 등이 방사선 피폭 위험도가 높은 의료인으로 분류되어 방사선 피폭 계측기를 착용하고 제도적으로 피폭 정도를 평가 및 관리받고 있는 반면, 수술실 간호사와 치과위생사의 방사선 피폭관리는 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있으므로 이에 대한 대처 방안이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구는 간호사와 치과위생사의 방사선 안전교육에 대한 현주소를 알기 위해 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위를 파악하여 방사선 피폭에 대한 경각심을 고취시키고 잠재적 위험을 미연에 방지할 수 있는 교육과 기술훈련에 대한 교육프로그램 설계에 도움이 되는 시사점을 도출하고자, 부산지역에 소재한 종합병원, 병원, 정형외과 및 치과병 의원 등의 의료기관을 임의 선정하여 현재 근무하고 있는 수술실에 근무하는 간호사, 치과병 의원에 근무하는 치과위생사를 대상으로 2014년 2월18일부터 3월 20일까지 설문조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식수준을 살펴본 결과 총 15점 만점 중 치과위생사 10.57점, 수술실 간호사 9.55점으로 나타났고(p<0.001), 방사선 안전관리에 대한 태도수준을 살펴본 결과 5점 만점 중 수술실 간호사 4.67점, 치과위생사 4.64점으로 나타났으며(p<0.001), 방사선 안전관리에 대한 행위수준을 살펴본 결과 5점 만점 중 치과위생사 3.27점, 수술실 간호사 2.93점으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 방사선 안전관리 지식, 태도 및 행위와의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 방사선안전관리 지식은 방사선 안전관리 태도 및 행위에서 통계적 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001).
